On this episode of the Main Point Jonathan, Jeremiah, and Blake talk about Jeremiah's sermon from Graduation Sunday, entitled "Last Words are Lasting Words."  The text was from 1 Chronicles 28.9-10, 20-21, and dealt with David's last words to his son Solomon.  The pastors discuss whether or not God is ever hidden from us, and what the Bible means when it talks about the "mystery of God."  Plus they get into an in-depth conversation regarding how we discern what the will of God is for our lives.

On this week of the Main Point Jonathan, Jeremiah, Jeff, and Blake talk about Sunday's sermon titled "Forgetting Our First Love" from Revelation 2.4-5. They discuss how we can be "hard working" church-going people and still be motivated by the wrong things and how that can lead to problems.  They also talk about the importance of remembering our salvation and practical ways we can do that.

In this episode of the Main Point, Jonathan, Jeremiah, Jeff, and Blake answer questions submitted about Sunday's sermon from Revelation 20.11-21-8, entitled, "The End of the End."  The message focused on what happens at the very end of the end times -- the Great White Throne judgment and the judgment seat of Christ -- and how our "goodness" neither guarantees Heaven nor helps us avoid Hell.  The pastors answer whether or not near death experiences or personal testimonies of Heaven and Hell should be consulted as sources of knowledge, and they answer a question posed about whether there is evidence for the view that Christians will not be present at the Great White Throne judgment.

In this episode of the Main Point, Jonathan, Jeremiah, Jeff, and Blake talk about mortality and the eternal answer God offers, as they discuss their thoughts on Sunday's sermon titled "A Lesson From Flowers."  They share about their own first experiences with death, and ask why our culture tends to hide from death.  They also address whether all humans will experience eternity or if it will be reserved for Christians only.

In this episode of the Main Point, Jonathan, Jeremiah, Jeff, and Blake discuss the final message in Jeff's sermon series on reflections from his time away.  The text was once again pulled from Hebrews 12, and the sermon was simply titled "Bitterness."  The pastors talk about what the "root of bitterness" is, whether a Christian can bear both fruits of the Spirit and fruits of bitterness, what it means in this text to "fall short of God's grace", the effect of bitterness on the life of the believer, and whether we can ever really sin in isolation.

In this episode of Monday Main Point, Jonathan, Jeremiah, Jeff, and Blake talk about the message from Sunday morning from Hebrews 12.12-13: When You Are Hurt at Church.  They discuss practical considerations surrounding those who have had their Christian "race" derailed by pain, suffering, or sin.  How should we approach those who stand in need of help?  What motivates those who are hurt to alienate themselves from help? and Is it ever OK to leave a local church because of hurt?

This week on Main Point, Jonathan, Jeremiah, Jeff, and Blake talk about the sermon Jeff preached on Resurrection Sunday.  The message was titled "HIs Wounds" and came from John 20.19-21 and focused on what we can learn from Jesus' scars.  The guys discuss whether we will carry our scars into Heaven, why it matters that Jesus suffered such a brutal death, whether we focus too much on the crucifixion and not enough on the resurrection, as well as what Old Testament passages support the idea that the Messiah would not only suffer and die but also rise again.
