When our emotions prompt inspiration those inspirations help us stay connected. The impact of loss and the emotion of grief can be re-imagined so that healing can begin.

In this episode, Spotify/Creator determined that playing a song from Elton John infringed on Sir Elton’s rights. SO I removed it and what you would have heard is Sad Songs (Say So Much). This was the thematic vision where the incongruent feelings that occur during grief is beautifully reflected in a poem by Ullie-Kaye. We talk and discuss the impact of grief on our lives.

Nancy and Dan use a poem by Canadian poet, Ullie-Kaye, A Nearby Distance. A poem that inspired them to talk about how incongruent feelings arise in grief. How we are capable of holding contrasting emotions and that it just might open our hearts to the journey that takes us from our grief to our best version of ourselves.

Brian came into Dan’s life at about the mid-point of his cancer journey. Brian has been part of the follow-up to the medical procedures offering support and contributing to Dan’s health management plan.

He treats patients on the whole spectrum of prostate cancer, from early detection and diagnosis, pre and post surgical care, ongoing cancer monitoring, and the treatment of prostate cancer recurrence, and advanced prostate cancer. 

In addition to general urology, Brian encounters and treats a host of other urologic issues including BPH (benign Prostatic hyperplasia), urinary dysfunction, kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, and prostate cancer.

In this episode, we interview Sharon Crowley. Sharon is the owner of The OM Center of Healing in St. Paul MN. She is a Certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor and the proud owner of 3 Harmonic Eggs. It is important to revisit resources when you are confronted with a loss and are grieving. Take stock of resources available to you. This ranges from any agency that may offer help , like church organizations or government assistance if you can find them available. Yet, a significant resource that you may overlook due to your confused state are the resources that you already have. We explore these and focus on the connections and friendship that become important when we are face with trying times.
