Sometimes we hold onto old things when God is telling us it is time to let go because there is something new He wants to do. Sometimes there are old, painful things God wants us to know that are about to come to an end, and He is going to bring something new. I believe this is a word for your heart today. Grieving is so not easy. We want to avoid it. Set it aside. But grief will not be ignored forever. As I'm grieving today, I thought we could talk a little more about it.

Many of us have truly never allowed God to heal the wounds of our past. And when we don't allow His healing balm to wash over us and bind us up, we hinder getting all the more that the Holy Spirit has for us. ​​

I've realized we live in a culture of 30-second sound bites, and this is a strategic scheme of the enemy. It opens our hearts up to so many untrue things. I hope your heart will be impacted with this musing this morning. ​
