I'm joined by Cormac Lucey. He is the author of "Plan B: How Leaving The Euro Can Save Ireland”. Lucey teaches finance at the Irish Management Institute, University College Dublin, and Chartered Accountants Ireland. He is also a frequent media commentator who contributes a weekly economics column to The Sunday Times (Ireland edition). He previously worked in industry and in corporate finance both in Ireland in Germany and in government as a ministerial advisor.

In our chat, we discuss the current state of the Irish economy, Ireland's experience during and post-GFC, solutions regarding monetary sovereignty, and the return of a national Irish currency after exiting the Eurozone. We also cover some issues around Irish economic history.
