MyIPO has been mandated by the Government with the task of building and developing a vibrant and sustainable Intellectual Property ecosystem as part of the overall government thrust to propel Malaysia into a high income economy. The new woman at the helm is Shamsiah Kamarudin who has announced that MyIPO will be stepping up its effort in ensuring the efficiency of the IP office and driving IP rights in new growth areas as well as increasing Malaysia’s competitiveness in the Region.
