Money Through Ease

This is the first of a two-part series where I am teaching you my favorite ways to game-ify making money. The first money game is called “Look Around and Pick it Up!” This is not manifestation, although some folks will tell you it’s the exact same thing. This is a practical exercise and game to play every day of your life to discover how there is money everywhere and it’s available for you to pick up or ask for it. I share with you a couple of examples of how to play this game, but there’s an infinite number of ways to play. Listen and share with me how you are going to play!

Today, I’m sharing with you why I don’t call myself a third-party CFO for hire. Being a Chief Financial Officer in someone’s business implies a lot of financial control, which is something I do not have nor do I want to have in my clients’ businesses. While I perform a lot of the same operations and functions as a CFO, this is not actually what my role is.

We’re discussing the difference between bookkeeping and taxes. A lot of people ask me questions about taxes and it’s hard for me to give an answer because of the lack of specificity of their question. Hopefully this episode will clear up the difference between the two, how bookkeeping and taxes are related, and why I do continuing education for taxes even though I don’t do income tax returns.
