In this episode we we are back talking about good financial habits. 

Today, we are talking about savings.  Savings may actually be the most neglected part of our budget BUT, it's probably the most important.  

These days so many of us are living paycheck to paycheck and I get that it’s hard to make saving a priority but it's necessary.  

Recent data shows that 39% of Americans would have a hard time covering an unexpected cash expense of just $400.  And realistically, emergency expenses can cost a lot more than $400.  So how do we make that number better?  

This is why saving is so important…. Even if the amount you save is small, it does add up and more quickly than you think.  

We will talk about the categories of savings and  give you tips on how to make saving a habit.  

The key takeaway is, no matter how you do it, make saving part of your plan!  And if you need help figuring out how to set up accounts and work with your direct deposit, ask your bank or credit union for guidance.  We are always here to help!

Today we are talking about habits. Habits can be many things that are both good and bad.  A bad habit may be biting your nails.  A good habit may be making your bed.  

We have habits in almost every aspect of our lives.  Little things like how we brush our teeth to bigger ones like our eating or driving habits.

Many of us may not even realize that we have habits when comes to our money.  Some may be good, some may be not so much. 

Today's habit is budgeting.   Budgeting and tracking your spending are great habits to develop and they can help you become financially successful.  Knowing what is happening with your money is really the only way to make it work for you in a more positive way.

Sometimes what you don’t know can be the basics, sometimes it can be more advanced.
