What do I know about finances? Far from everything. I work with the mental and emotional piece of money. I help people get out of their own way to become lusciously abundant. And I know enough to hire people to do what I don't know how to do.
If you've never been to a financial planner (I hadn't) I want to share with you my first quick impressions.
My biggest takeaway: I didn't even know what I didn't know.
Good to know.

Listen in for a dancing lesson.
When you put yourself on a budget, the biggest problem is the feelings of restriction and deprivation.
Even before you have made one change in your actual spending, that pressure around your chest starts getting tighter. Your breathing gets shallower.
Because deprivation lives in that noggin of yours.
"I am not going to have enough." "I'll have to do without." "It's going to be horrible."
What if you could live on any amount of money you choose and not feel restricted? It's crazy liberating.
And all about freeing your mind.
Humans were made to seek pleasure. It's part of the motivational triad.
The problems started when we created false pleasure. When we started processing our food to condense the sugar and create as big a rush as possible. The problems started when we began shopping with the click of a finger... when we condensed our shopping. You know the feeling false pleasure gives you. It's that high that feels sooooo good. And then leaves so quickly.
Seeking pleasure is good. And feels good. And creates more of what you want in life. If you seek true pleasure.
But it's more complicated than that.
Listen in on this live coaching call as my client works through her fear and embarrassment trying to get back into the workforce after raising three kids and a divorce.
Fascinating!
We live in a patriarchal society. Men have most of the power and money.
I find how men interact with money fascinating.
Rather than feeling cheated and discriminated against, let's learn from men. On this week's episode you will learn about how men think differently than women about money.
(Spoiler: They think money is interesting.)
Let's steal some thoughts. Money is fun. Money is easy.
Let's break the taboo and have some fun talking about money.
