Like a phoenix rising from the ashes (of American flags, OH clever Wilco reference), the Media Moguls have returned with episode 8. Long episode with lots of words this time around, but a three month absence will do that to you. Err mah gerd guys, The Dark Knight Rises is out! In this episode, the guys discuss the last installment in Christopher Nolan's epic trilogy and look back on Nolan's other masterful Batman films. We also talk about a little-remembered Kung Fu movie called "The Crippled Masters" and ponder the idea of an "Anti-Avengers" movie. And that's it. The Media Moguls are back for some Spiderman-themed goodness! In this episode, Dal Taco and The Sasquidge go straight for the kill, giving a totally formal and professional review of The Amazing Spidermanas well as giving an even more formal and professional eulogy for the original Spiderman movies, or "The Tobey Trilogy". Some really random crap happens along the way. We also recorded this episode differently than previous episodes, but we think things turned out well for the most part.
