    Welcome to Episode 13 of Remotely Renee. As always thank you for your support and for coming back each week to listen in.

    This week on Remote scoreboard, this week Renee and her 2-Lit Crew discuss the devastation in Texas and who is donating time and money to the effort. Renee gets excited about the FCF and her team’s win and the franchise of her quarterback who was also a player of the week. the 2-lit-crew weighs in on JJ Watt using his platform to let people know about the change in his career. Major league money in the minors? The minor league is now getting a pay raise and everyone on Remotely Renee agrees that this is a great idea. This conversation flows into everyone giving their opinion on playing football versus baseball.

    Next Remote 1-on-1 Renee sit’s down with Brittany Packnett Cunningham. They connect their upbringing in the church and going into activism. Brittany also shares her first protest she participated in growing up. She expresses the importance of action in activism.

    Snook continues with Black History Month on Remote Roots by highlighting Katherine Johnson. Snook weaves us through her life highlights with amazing facts on all of her life achievements. Giving all the roses to Katherine by letting everyone know she was another great African American West Virginian. This segment ends with a teaser.. could Randy Moss be a guest?

    Hero IRL features Isaac Rochelle, defensive end for the Los Angeles Chargers who introduces us to his company Local Human. He started his company during the pandemic and tells his motivation behind its beginning. Local Human is doing big things in the community and are super excited to continue to watch it grow. He talks about the importance of his TikTok give-aways and what his new normal looks like post-pandemic.

    Remote Show and Tell Renee receives a care package that includes Electronic sanitizer and charger. Renee said she was spooked by the correlation between the item received and similar items on a movie named Songbird on NetFlix she viewed. Everyone agreed it was a futuristic and cool gift to receive.

    Renee, Paul, and Snook welcome Cole to Twitter. They discuss the importance of social media and also accept a couple of Tiktok challenges. Renee stresses the importance of social media in all aspects of life including career.

    Taylor Barfield professor of Community College of Baltimore County and Notre Dame of Maryland University gives out the roses on Remote Roses this week.

    The scores even up as Renee guesses that our roses are going to Issa Rae. Highlighting all of her great accomplishments and achievements in her career with a formal invitation to Issa Rae to join Remotely Renee anytime!

    Our guest for Remote Roses is Sean who is a mentor, entrepreneur, and middle school teacher in New Haven. He discusses his connection with the mamba mentality and then gives roses to a current NBA player who is doing great things off the court.

    In this episode of Remote 1-on-1 Renee sits down with NBA-great Ray Allen and gives some insight on educational beginnings and then elaborates on when he realized he was good. He also tells us his freshman nickname at his alma mater UCONN.

    Remote Roots Snook continues our journey of black history in West Virginia. She educates us on the relationships of Carter G Woodson and Booker T. Washington with West Virginia and how they have molded West Virginia and the country today.

    Welcome to Episode 11 of Remotely Renee. As always, thank you for your support and for coming back each week to listen in.

    This episode is epic! Renee begins the episode with her 2-Lit Crew taking a poll of what is their favorite basketball All Star Event. Everyone gives their opinion on why they chose their favorite event and also gives some ideas on what they would want to see with all star events between different sports.

    Then Renee surprises the 2-Lit Crew for Remotely Random with the The Hood Sorceress Christina, who gives them a gives everyone a glimpse into how the stars are aligned for each of them. She exposes the deep astrological signs of each of the 2-lit crew. Everyone is surprised by her complete accuracy about their love language.

    On Remote Scoreboard Paul talks workouts with Peloton. Peloton is working its way of the charts for Celebrity workouts and signings. Also on Remote Scoreboard, they talk baseball money and who should be the highest paid the across all sports?

    Finally All Star game or No All star game, everyone gives their opinion whether the players should or should not participate and their reservations.

    Dante Simpson is our Hero IRL talking about ESPAT and ESPAT TV. He gives some insight into his partnership with Ridgley Creative group and mixing gaming and e-sports content. He also talks bringing different cultural content to not only the sports world but also the e-sports world. Lastly he gives his goals for ESPAT in 2021 giving us a look into his great vision and excitement about the future.

    With Remotely Roses Nitasha Ali joins us to give out our roses this week. Nitasha is a teacher in Chicago who is also very big on TikTok and she gives Renee and the 2 –Lit Crew awesome clues to her Remote Roses pick. She also shares a great story about teaching the wonderful children in elementary school.

    Remote 1-on-1 Renee sits down with Brandon Copeland. Brandon talks about graduating from an Ivy League school and playing for the New England Patriots. He also expands on how he returned to his Ivy League school to teach a course on life. He gives his roses to his grandfather who was also in the league and understood how to nurture his love for the game and driving home the importance of getting his education.

    Remote Roots Snook tells of West Virginia’s greatest love story that gave birth to the HBCU that still stands today. She gives all the intricate details and sets the stage for a great black history event that tells how Institute, WV came to be. This story is packed with love, violence, wealth, and finally victory!

    This week we are in double digits! Welcome to Episode 10! As always, thank you for your support and for coming back each week to listen in.

    This week, we start off with Snook sharing her vaccine experience with a race to the finish to get vaccinated. Renee also talks about free agency in the WNBA and how she is happy when players get to choose their paths to continue greatness.

    Renee talks about her new obsession to Showtime’s show, “Billions” and wants to get in on the stock game. She and the 2-Lit Crew touch on the GameStop’s stock blow up and sharing the wealth. The 2-Lit Crew agreed that they missed out on this opportunity but will be ready for the next one. On Remote Scoreboard, Paul delves into the Shaq Bowl games, and they discuss whether they think this is going to be an event that is popular and just what types of games that Shaq will have in the Shaq Bowl. Renee and the 2-Lit Crew were excited and all agreed they would be watching the festivities.

    Next they discuss Naomi Osaka and her new investment of becoming a team owner of the North Carolina soccer team! Naomi is doing big things and the cast of Remotely Renee are all about uplifting and positivity and love seeing young people grow.

    And last but certainly not least Paul talks about Legend Hank Aaron’s passing with all the crew talking about the wonderful things he has done for the world, and how they are going to honor his life. They also talked about the conditions that he endured during his baseball career and courage to continue to play despite the adversities.

    Renee also stop’s to take a minute to talk about losing a great colleague Sekou Smith to Covid-19 and how the sports world lost another great, and he will be sorely missed.

    Next in Happening IRL we hear from Darius Butler who is dropping all the Super Bowl knowledge and all the details of what we need to know going into Super Bowl LV. After hearing Darius explain the facts Renee and the 2-Lit Crew weigh in on their super bowl picks with an even split of Buccaneers and the Chiefs.

    Remote 1 on 1 we connected with the First lady of Sports casting Pam Oliver. She talked about her beginnings in the broadcasting world and then how she broke into sports casting. And in the full interview she sets the record straight about the incident at Lambo Field.

    Snook continues to school us on Remote Roots by letting us know the history and beginning of Black History Month. She also informs us of this year’s Black History month theme and then gives a teaser about a great love story she will be talking about on her next Remote Roots segment. And she does confirm it is NOT her and Diddy.

    Finally Glen Mourning another Uconn alumni joins us for Remote Roses. White boards ready, Glen gives us clues to his Remote Roses pick.     Welcome to Episode 9 of Remotely Renee. As always, thank you for your support and for coming back each week to listen in.

    Renee begins this episode with her 2-LIT-Crew taking shots for charity (hot sauce of course) for the Husky Ticket Project. The Husky Ticket Project is a 501C3 foundation that is donating 100% of the proceeds to athletics for children to play Husky sports.

    This week’s remote scoreboard Renee and the 2-LIT-Crew ask the question “How much would you pay for a ticket to the super bowl?” They also talk about “Topps Now” (Biden Administration) cards and give lots of love to the huskies for numerous huskies doing great things on and off the court. Including Coach Geno Auriemma surpassing Pat Summit’s winning record as the winning coach in women’s Basketball history.

    Oren Burks, linebacker for the Green Bay Packers, is a REAL LIFE HERO, talking about his work off the field with the charity House of Hope. House of Hope is a charity that focuses on homelessness in the Green Bay area. He talks about this extension of works that started collegially and flowed over into his professional career.

    Remote Show n’ Tell gave accolades to Red Bull for doing a duel magazine cover with Renee and also with Natasha Cloud. Acknowledging both women and not making them share the spotlight.

    Remote 1 on 1 features Zack Stephen from Manchester City all the way in the United Kingdom where he discusses playing overseas and his experience playing for such a prestigious foundation.

    Renee surprised the 2 Lit Crew with a remote review. But it wasn’t the usual movie review. It was a review of the inaugural services with everyone discussing what stood out in this historic event.

    Gotcha! In this segment of Remote Roots Snook shares how she is a “Gotcha Baby” and explained the back story of Fannie Pearl and Will Smith’s gotcha moment and how she ended up living in wild and wonderful West Virginia.

    Finally Remote Roses went out to all those who showed support and sent happy Birthday videos for Snook’s birthday! Snook was shocked and grateful for all the love.
