This is a step-by-step guide of how to short stocks on Robinhood (or any trading platform that doesn't allow shorting). Profiting off the decline of a stock can been done through a Bear Put Spread. In this episode, I cover the theory behind this option strategy and provide an example to make it more understandable. At the end of the episode, I showcase the creation of a Bear Put Spread, sometimes referred to as a "Debit Put Spread", in my own Robinhood account. This live example is a short position on SPY.

Shorting allows you to make a profit when a stock declines. Unfortunately, the Robinhood trading platform doesn't allow you to directly sell stock. There are a few viable workarounds, this episode focusing on creating a net short position with put options. In this episode, I show two to live examples in my own Robinhood account.
