In order to change our power to resist the temptations that come at us constantly in our technological world, we need to find ways to close the path so that we don't give in so easily to our old habits.  This path of least resistance, doing the easy thing, can dictate more of our lives than we realize, prohibiting positive growth and change.  Putting things directly in our path will help create new habits.  Pushing things that limit us at least 20 seconds away may be the key to progress and forward movement.

Little by little a little becomes a lot! When the challenges we face are particularly challenging and the payoff remains far away, setting smaller, more manageable goals helps us build our confidence and celebrate our forward progress, and keeps us committed to the task at hand. Focus on tiny incremental changes!

Success is never about falling down or even simply about falling down and getting back up over and over again. It's about using the downward momentum to propel ourselves in the opposite direction.  It's not about falling down, but falling up!

When we train our brains to constantly scan for and focus on the positive, we profit from 3 of the most important tools available to us: happiness, gratitude and optimism.  Here are some real applicable ways to be more habitual in our efforts to create our life by design.

The more you believe in your own ability to succeed, the more likely it is that you will. More important that believing in your own abilities is believing that you can improve these abilities.
