Laura Poskin is a gerontologist and passionate advocate working to make the world a better place to grow old. She is Executive Director of Age-Friendly Greater Pittsburgh, a leader in the World Health Organization and AARP Network of Age-Friendly Communities. Over the past eight years, Laura has built a coalition of 120+ organizations and inspired neighbors to be more inclusive and respectful of all ages. Laura started her career in media at People, Jane and Good Housekeeping magazines. During her graduate work in Ohio and Bangkok, she studied aging and demographic change from Western and Eastern perspectives.
