How often are you checking your social media numbers? The reality is what you measure grows, so if you're not measuring your social media numbers it's hard to say if anything you're doing is actually working.
Let me say this... It's not all about numbers but for SOME goals (like getting a book deal with a publisher, or speaking at BIG events) having big numbers can be extremely helpful.
That's not to say it's not just about the likes, you also need to watch your traffic and engagement. Those are the numbers that lead to meaningful growth in your business.

I love networking online, it brings the power of building relationships together with the comfort of yoga pants. It can be done well, and it can be done poorly - today I'm giving you 3 tips on how to make sure it goes well.
Word of warning - we're talking about building real relationships and community, not jumping in and asking for the sale. I'm giving real talk about why it's critical to treat those avatars the same way you would a face to face conversation.
Second word of warning - don't underestimate the value of coupling this with in person networking. Both can be better when you bring a little strategic face to face time into the mix.

Facebook is a powerful way to grow your credibility, but only if you're not making these 3 mistakes. They're big ones, and they're instant credibility killers.
Make sure that Facebook is making the impression you want to make. That it's helping you grow that know like and trust factor so you can grow your business with this tool, and not spin your wheels.

One for the introverts today, but really it's powerful for you even as an extrovert (like me). We're talking about managing energy, and really not letting you being an introvert hold you back from success (because that's just silly).

Speaking is something I LOVE. I love getting on stage and sharing an insane amount of value. I get questions about this ALL the time though. How I got started speaking and most of all, how do I find events to speak at.
Today though we're digging deep on how to get these gigs and make the most of them.

eWomenNetwork is one of the organizations that has been on my radar for a while, in fact it was probably the second large membership base I learned about (after International Virtual Assistants Association) when I started my first business. I avoided it for quite awhile not sure I'd fit in, I honestly thought it was geared a bit older than I am. Earlier this year though a friend talked me into attending a meeting and I loved it. It's been a wonderful group of women.
When eWomenNetwork founder Sandra Yancey joined us at our chapter lunch several months ago she shared about conference and I knew I had to go, and go I did. Now I've been back for about a week and I'd love to share my BIG takeaways with YOU.

Getting real about content, I was originally asked this question on Periscope and decided to bring it in and dive a bit deeper. I'm talking about why I decided to add different types of content.
I'm also talking about what to do if you're thinking about changing up your content.
