It's time for us to get real with each other, I'm noticing in more and more conversations when I start to talk strategy I get the response of "oh I have a Facebook page", feel free to insert whatever network you want there but the reality is having a profile or a page is not a plan!
The statement is usually followed by a lot of questions about why they can't get clients or opt-ins from their social media efforts. And now it's time for the tough truth, and that is that you don't have a plan, you don't have a strategy, you have tools but no instructions.
In today's episode I'm sharing exactly why a strategy is KEY, what you can get from it (what it must include) and of course how it all fits into a larger marketing plan. In fact I'm using my own launch of Social Pro as an example.

The first episode of 2015 is here, and it's all about self care. I know we've had a few of these now but it's because it's such a critical piece of your business. I also really wanted to start the year of with this message because it's something that's so important.
If we don't take care of ourselves, if we don't nurture ourselves, it's impossible for us to reach all of the other goals we're setting in 2015. Say bye bye to the stretch income goal, to the new launch, or even the larger community. If you're not serving you, you can't serve anyone else.
A little about Hannah…Hannah Braime is the founder of Becoming Who You Are, self-relationship coach, and author. She teaches people in transition how to be kind to themselves so they can get out of their own way and create the life they really want. Connect with her at BecomingWhoYouAre.net

Ohh this one is a good one. I've got the fabulous Danielle Watson on the show, and she's sharing how some of life's blocks show up in your purse. Ohh and if you don't carry a purse, she'll share about that as well.
She's also sharing how you can find out more about the inside of your bag and what it means for your personality.
A little about Danielle…Danielle Watson is an anthropologist and the creator of The Purse Process™. Instead of digging around in the dirt for treasures left behind by lost civilizations, Danielle uses her powers in an innovative (and far more girly) way. She is the most fashionable interpreter of culture on the planet today and the worlds foremost expert on revealing the hidden-in -plain-sight reason your desires elude you. In an hour or less, The Purse Process™ will reveal the path to turning your hidden gems into your greatest assets.

I LOVE this conversation with Julie, we talk podcasting, business, and zombies... seriously listen to it and you'll even hear Zombie talk.
Julie shares some great takeaways on how happiness can help you build a better business.
A little about Julie…Julie Foucht, Kickass Biz Coach, shows frustrated women entrepreneurs how to activate their creative superpowers to find kickass clients and make lots of money. Through her signature programs, Julie teaches women the three key components of a Kickass biz: Master a Happy Mindset, Create Succulent Strategies, and Take Daily, Inspired Action.
Julie’s philosophy is simple: When women step into their authentic selves and build businesses that truly express what they are most passionate about, then they have the power to change the world – and make buckets full of money doing it.
Julie started her first real business at the age of 12, becoming a lifelong entrepreneur. In 2013 she was named Woman of the Year by the Professional Women’s Network of the Monterey Peninsula.
When she is not coaching her fabulous clients, facilitating Up-leveling Mastermind weekends or hosting her weekly podcast, Ms. Kickass Biz Radio, she can usually be found enjoying tea parties with her husband and two tiny granddaughters.

Feeling the stretch? Running out of time? Sick of wasting time on tasks that are not making you money, or simply are not why you started your business?
It might be time to hire some help. I'm breaking down today, when it might be time, and some first steps to bring your first person into the team. One disclaimer though, in this episode I'm taking about hiring contractors, not full time or even part time employees, that brings on it's own set of needs .
