Have you ever had an idea, a dream, or something you really wanted to do… but you kept waiting until you felt more confident?
Maybe you wanted to start a business, make a change in your health, speak up, try something new, or finally do something just for YOU.
But the little voice in your head kept saying:
“I’m not ready yet.”
“What if I fail?”
“Who am I to do this?”
“Maybe I should wait until I feel more confident.”
Girl, I get it.
I’ve had plenty of moments in my life when I wanted to do something but didn’t feel completely ready. And if I’ve learned anything along the way, it’s this:
Confidence doesn’t always come before you take action. Sometimes, confidence is built because you took the action.
The truth about confidence...
For so long, I thought I needed to feel confident before I could do certain things.
Before I could put myself out there. Before I could try something new. Before I could make a change.
But the truth is, if we wait until we feel completely confident, we might be waiting forever.
Especially as women in midlife, we can get really good at putting ourselves last. We have careers, families, responsibilities, and a million things pulling at our attention.
We tell ourselves we’ll get to our dreams when things settle down.
When we lose the weight.
When the kids need us less.
When we have more time.
When we finally feel like we know what we’re doing.
But what if the life you want is waiting on you to take one small step before you feel ready?
What I’m sharing in this episode
I’m getting personal about the moments when I’ve had to move forward even when I didn’t have all the answers.
Because I’m not sharing this from a place of having it all figured out. I’m sharing it as a woman who has learned that you can be nervous, uncertain, and still take the next step.
We’ll talk about:
✨ Why waiting until you feel confident can keep you stuck.
✨ The difference between being unprepared and simply feeling uncomfortable.
✨ How taking small actions can help you build self-trust.
✨ Why you don’t need to have the entire plan figured out before you begin.
✨ How to stop letting fear, self-doubt, or the opinions of others make your decisions for you.
✨ What it looks like to give yourself permission to try, even if you might fail.
✨ How to start becoming the woman who follows through on the things she says she wants.
You don’t have to feel ready
Here’s something I want you to remember:
You can want more for your life and still love the life you have today.
You can be grateful for where you are and still want to grow.
You can be scared and still be brave.
You can have a history of starting over and still decide that this time, you’re going to do things differently.
And you don’t have to do it all at once.
Sometimes confidence looks like making the appointment.
Sending the email.
Signing up for the class.
Speaking up in the room.
Or simply deciding that your dreams deserve a little space on your calendar.
The goal isn’t to become a woman who never doubts herself.
The goal is to become a woman who trusts herself enough to take action, even when doubt shows up.

Your next chapter doesn’t require you to feel completely confident. It just requires you to take the next step.
