Pete Markowitz is the new Assistant Dean for the Honor College! As a physicist, Markowitz's research interests focus on the source of gravity, extra dimensions, black holes, quark structure of nuclei, dark matter, dark energy and the electro production of quarks and anti-quarks (or matter and anti-matter).  On this episode we talk about the research he's done and how Physics answers some of life's biggest questions!

Let Your Voices Echo (L.Y.V.E.) is an independent project led by FIU students Melanie Rodriguez and Frederic Aurelien. L.Y.V.E addresses issues of social justice and their inherent connection to the arts. L.Y.V.E. aims to engage with members of the FIU community (both students and faculty) to reflect on social issues through open discussion that simultaneously fosters a deeper appreciation for the arts.
