Brenna Bio:
New Orleans native Brenna J. Fields, also known as Coach Bre, is a certified life coach, ordained minister, writer, as well as a certified event planner, and certified pre-marital counselor. She believes she is called to use her training and life experiences to empower women to overcome life difficulties so they can live fulfilling lives. She desires to see women become better versions of themselves so they can leave a legacy of excellence for future generations!
Brenna is the author of the recently published book, “Returning to Wholeness: Overcoming Life’s Challenging to Live a Blessed Life” which is available on Amazon. She is also one of the contributing writers in the book entitled, “She Writes for Him: Black Voices of Wisdom” which is being released in March, as well as the e-book “You’re Engaged, Now What: Expert Advice on Planning the Wedding of Your Dreams.”
Brenna recently launched her new coaching business, New Season New Day Coaching, and Mentoring, where she provides training, individual and group coaching in the areas of goal setting, finding your life purpose, and divorce recovery.
She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (Tampa Alumnae Chapter), where she has served on both the local and regional levels in elected and appointed positions for the last 27 years. She also serves on the clergy staff of Beulah Baptist Institutional Church, the oldest African American Baptist church in the city of Tampa.

convention and leisure travel, entertainment, and Sports. Effective in the
development and execution of business strategy with demonstrated expertise in
solving complex business concepts, technology implementation, developing easy to understand visuals and points of view as well as providing Executive Level support for decision making.
On this episode of More Than Lipstix Podcast, we will wrap up our conversation on how the pandemic has impacted women, specifically black women returning to the workforce. With more than 6.4% of black women currently out of the workforce are finding difficulty in pivoting back to work or moving to something new.

Daye Brake is a mom, student, educator, publisher, and entrepreneur, currently residing in Winston-Salem, NC. She has two daughters, Joi and Fayth, age 7 and 15 months. With a Bachelor in English, Masters in Publishing, and a Masters in School Administration, Daye has published 3 books and recently had the experience of opening, leading, and closing a North Carolina public charter school. Daye recently launched a virtual tutoring business that she operates from her home while serving as a full-time mom. When time allows, she enjoys reading, creative writing, outdoor walks, traveling, and new adventures.
Mundi Massenburg Gattis, born in Durham NC, a Wife and a Mom of three is currently a Business Analytics Manager for PNC and has been employed with them for the past 4 years. She received an undergraduate in Accounting/Marketing at North Carolina A&T University in 2003 and a Master's in Management and Leadership from Webster University in 2009. Mundi is an immediate past board member of the Multicultural EBRG at PNC as well as a recent past member of the Diversity & Inclusion council. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta and on the PTA of her kids’ school.
In her spare time that she does not have, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, DIY homemade products, and exercise.

We discuss everything from stress, anger, and what’s for lunch. Often when women decide to have children we often have a fantastical vision. We envision choreographing, cookies bakes, PTA meeting our precious Littles dressed in perfectly coordinated Janie and Jack outfits. And then reality sets in, quickly realizing that our precious little humans truly do have a mind of their own. With all their own personalities and opinion in tow.
Adding on an unforeseen pandemic, working mothers find themselves at home either no longer employed or working from home while raising our children. In this 2 part series, we will discuss how the fantasy and reality collide. As the world begin to re-open black women with children begin to realize how difficult it can be to return to work. With 6.4% of black women due to the inability to be find safe childcare or worrying about the implications to their children’s health if do return, or their careers, and the overall household.
