A couple of months ago, I went to get my big clipper because, honestly, I do not like going to the barber shop and using the same clipper everyone else is using. We all know that it causes a lot of disease and lots of other things.

The clipper is mainly used for cutting hair, but then I use it to shave. The fact is that using it for shaving is not too good; I mean, it's not sharp like that. Because of that, I went to the market and priced another one, the one that is specially made for shaving.


The one for shaving is different from the one that is used for cutting the hair. So, to cut a long story short, I priced the one for the shaving in the market, and it's so expensive. It was $18 in the market.

I can't afford that at the moment, so I went online and saw the same thing I priced offline, and it was just $1.5 I don't think much about it and just go for it as soon as possible. And I got it in just three weeks.


What about the trimmer?

It's a portable trimmer, and it can only be used for shaving alone; it's too small for cutting the hair.

Charging method: the trimmer uses an Android cable to charge, and it charges for a good two hours.

What I like about it. I like the fact that it's easy to use, simple, very light, and you can carry it anywhere.

What do I dislike about it?

Well, to be sincere, I don't know yet, but looking at it, I don't think it's going to be strong enough to shave very well. I'm yet to text it well, so I can't jump to conclusions. But with how tiny it is, I'm not sure it's going to last the way I want it.

Just like yesterday, when I took off to a state called Kwara State for my service. It was surprising because I never thought of going to camp that early, but you know our school can be so dramatic; all of a sudden, within that same month, they rushed everything for us, and we didn't have any choice.



I have not gotten to Kwara State before, although it's not too far from my state. Well, I pack my bag and my loads for the journey. I only have three good weeks to spend in the camp. I could not pack everything I needed, though, because I hate having too many loads and I'm lazy too. So I picked some and left some, even though they are important.

All my thoughts were that the journey should not be more than three to four hours long. There's a state in Kwara that is called Ilorin. So I was thinking that would be our camp, not knowing that it's not. So when I got to Kwara State and the bus stopped all of us, our thoughts were that the journey was over, until I moved closer to someone and told them where I was going. He called the transportation cost for me, and I was so confused because it's more than what I used to get there. I needed to wait for more people to confirm the price.

After I confirmed the price, I left to board another car. This car spent more than four hours on the road. The place we are going is full of bush, and it's so far away from the town. I thought I was being kidnapped at first because you will not see anyone on the road; it is all full of bush and dust.

I finally saw where to buy snacks, and after some hours, we got to where we were going. Finally, finally, I'm happy. But another story starts. We have to be on a straight line so they can check our loads one after the other. Remember, this is a military camp; we have to comply if we don't want any problems. There are some dressings that are not allowed in, and also drugs, unless you have the descriptions for them.

When I got to camp, I did the necessary things I needed to do, and I was grouped in group one. I met the people in group one, and they are all so nice. It's time for elections, so they choose a group leader, and that happens to be a lady. Well, I wasn't there, so I don't know how it went. After that, the camp begins. The first week was so tough; the soldiers are not smiling at us at all. I happen to fall into a hostel called Harmony Hostel. I was told that the people in that hotel are so wicked.


Believe me, one day around 1 a.m. at midnight, they took all of us out in the cold weather because we didn't listen. And we were punished by staying inside that cold weather for more than an hour.

After the first week, the second week was far enough, as we had so many activities like games and so on. This was the time I started enjoying the camp; moreover, I became the sports organizer and coach by this time, and I fell in love with everything they did. I trained the females in volleyball, and they all did absolutely well.

Talking about the food we ate at camp, it's so funny that if you did not go along with extra money, you might end up having ulcers. Not all the food is well satisfied, isn't that why they called it camp? If you collect their tea, it's so watery. But then, their jollof rice is not bad. Well, I ate some food in camp, and of course I need to eat it. How will my camp experience be complete? And I made sure I ate at the so-called Mami Market; that's the market where you will buy all sorts of food. Their food is not that expensive, though.

I could remember how we used to girate in the morning; it's an unforgettable memory. Well, the last week at the camp is something I will never forget. Since then, I've met lots of people, mingled with friends, and so on. In fact, I wish the camp would never finish.

I joined so many activities in camp, and I enjoy myself. I'm happy I did it. I still talk to some of my friends, but not everyone. And after the whole thing, we left the camp after spending a good three weeks. It was a memory that will always be in my head to this day.

We were posted to cities and states where we would continue our service for a good year, and that was how I missed almost everyone.

One good thing I love to do and do well is exercise. If you get to see me, I look much younger than my age. We all know the benefits of exercise and how good it is for our bodies.

Most of the time, whenever I'm done mentally, what I normally do is engage in physical fitness training, or kick pads; sometimes I even do boxing. When it comes to things like that, I would do it without getting tired. I have no limitations on exercise; I do it till I'm so exhausted.

When I see someone who doesn't engage in exercise and is fat, I always encourage them to engage in it. Because, honestly, some of us need to know the value of our health. Some will say I'm not fat, so why should I engage in exercise? Well, that's a story for another day. I'm definitely going to tell us why we actually need this exercise.


To function well in the morning, I love to do at least 15 minutes of exercise. This will make my brain work well and allow me to focus on whatever I'm doing.

So today we decided to engage in fitness activities. I'm the instructor, but we also have a senior instructor. Well, this is more like a school because there is so much discipline there. Meet my colleagues, my friends, and my students. We are here every Saturday and Sunday for fitness exercise. We also triathlon on Wednesday, but that is not as important as the one we do every weekend. This is because we believe people might go to work.

Since it's the holiday season, it's one of the seasons that we enjoy ourselves the most. We have all been gone for so many months, but fortunately, holidays are the only thing that brings us together. It's so nice to see my family and friends again.

We did not have time to go out for the Christmas holidays, but then we took our precious time going out for the new year, and that was our first hangout as family members. We invited lots of our friends and relatives over to come and celebrate with us. I've got some of my friends that come over, and my siblings have also invited their friends over.





The name of the place where we did our hangout is called Trans Amusement Parks. This place is fun with lots of activities; it's a very big and beautiful garden that consists of lots of activities.

Going there, we have prepared what we need to take along. We did small chops—sorry, I meant my siblings did small chops—and they missed some fruit together to make drinks. I don't know the name of the drink, though, but I know that I drink everything they give me.

We got there as early as we could because we actually had a lot of activities to do that very day. We later realized we needed more miscellaneous, so we drove down to the nearest restaurant to get all kinds of miscellaneous we needed.

We got back to the place and started by introducing ourselves. After that, we started with what we had for the day.

For the activities of that day, we have lots of talking to do and lots of games to play. So we played different kinds of games, like message delivery. This message is that delivery is to be played within teams.




So there are two teams to play the games. We are to write like three sentences on paper, and then the first person in each team will come outside to memorize the sentence, then tell the other person, and the other person will tell the other one until the last person, and the last person will be the one to write it down. So we are to compare both sentences together, and the one that gets it right will be the winner.

We played more games, like squid games and so on. At some point, my siblings wanted to go for wings and slides. Pardon me; I don't know the names of these machines here.



We paid for everyone that wants to enter any machines, and each person is one dollar, so we played more than $10. After which, my siblings enjoyed themselves there, and I went there with my other brother to enjoy myself. At some point, the machine looked so scary. But I summoned my courage to have fun. At some point, I was dizzy. The machine goes round and round very fast. But then I enjoyed every moment.

After doing all sorts of activities, we eat, drink, and keep talking. Then, in the evening, we round it up and go back home.

One year has come to an end all of a sudden. Just like yesterday, I started the service. It has been a wonderful year.

Well, there's nothing that you start and will not finish. First, I appreciate the fact that I'm able to come this far. And I have achieved a lot during my regime.

Well, talking about my regime and my year of service, it is something I will not forget about.



My first experience is about leadership. If you are not ready to be a leader, it is better not to be one. During my regime, I was surrendered with lots of ladies as my EXCOs. I have three males and five ladies as my EXCOs. It's definitely a worthy experience because it's never easy to deal with the ladies.

So many times I have to calm down and listen to each and every one of them talk and think about what to say. One will want me to favor her, and the other will want the same thing. And if you favor one, the matter will not finish in time. I come down so low for everyone on the CDs so that I can control them all. We all know that the most difficult thing to control is human beings.


The second thing I learned is confidence and patience. I have so much confidence in talking to everyone, regardless of who you are. And also gain more confidence in myself; apart from that, I have lots of patience for everyone because I need it. We have different people, and some can be so annoying sometimes. As a leader, you must be really patient with everyone. It's better to listen before you talk than to talk before you listen.

Listen hears. As a leader, I learned to listen to everyone. Regardless of who you are, I must listen and make sure I solve your problems first. My members are my priority, so I need to be there for them at any time.



All these are what I learned during my service year, and I'm so happy I could end my regime so well. I've got awesome members and EXCOs, and I appreciate that all the time. Since my regime is done, the next thing to do is to hand it over to someone else. As usual, we did our normal voting using the normal protocol, and my vice president emerged as the current leader. I wish her all the best.

Furthermore, we did the project; it's necessary to do projects all the time, and we handed the project to the supervisor. He appreciates us and wishes us well.

I have met some people who have changed my life for the better on Hive. I appreciate every good day. Coming to Hive wouldn't have been easy if not for the good deeds of some good people. People like @sholex94 and @vickoly



We have shared good memories together; even on my birthday, Sholex came over to celebrate me. That is for you to know the kind of relationship we have together. I could remember that he was the first person to come around on my passing-out parade day. It's so beautiful to see that you have someone who can be there for you whenever you need them.

I was online when my brother, Sholex, said he had seen someone marry him. Well, it was so funny to me because, at some point, I did not believe. Not until I see invitations saying he really wants to get married.

That day happens to be my joyful day. I mean, I've been waiting for a moment like that because he has been celebrating me every time.

I had some disappointment; my tailor was the person who delayed my clothes. You can't imagine getting my clothes very late at night. And the wedding happens in the morning. Seeing the cloth in the morning, it has already been dirty in some places, but then I've got to put it on like that.

I already told my friend we were going out together, and he agreed to follow me. Getting to the wedding, they had already started, but then we met them at the beginning.



I was so eager to stand up and dance. I'm so touched by the music and the drums they are playing. You know, at some point, I didn't know when I stood up and started dancing. I danced away my sorrows. I was enjoying the music so much that I could not even control myself anymore.

It's so nice to see my mentor, Vicky, sitting so calmly. I never knew he was watching me dance. It's really nice to see him again because it's been months since I set my eye on him. I'm sure he would be happy because, honestly, I disturbed him almost all the time.


Well, this is what actually amazed me. For once, I never knew I could meet people outside the Hive who would recognize me so easily. I met two people who actually recognized me just by looking at my face. Both are on Hive,@harhess and @mojtee07 they called my name MoreMoney. Well, I was so shocked because, honestly, I wasn't expecting that. I'm so glad I could meet so many people on Hive at the wedding. We all take pictures together.

As usual, everyone knows how much I love to eat. I never dropped my food until I finished it. You all need to be there and see how sweet the food looks. I don't even remember if I prayed before eating the food.

After taking so many pictures together, we all allow the couples to have a good honeymoon by releasing the two of them.

I have been dreaming of getting a better network for my phone, but I keep procrastinating. Well, it's not as if I don't have the money, but most of the time, either I forget or I just procrastinate. Ever since my friend got his own, I had it in mind that I would also get mine, but then I kept procrastinating. Not until my phone started acting so weird.


Ever since I traveled home, I have had a very low network. And this is affecting my engagement on Hive and the rest of the things that I'm doing. I'm staying at a new site, and there's no other solution than to stay home with my family.

To write a post or make any engagement on Hive, I have to go outside our house as early as 5 AM in the morning in the cold. My parents are already complaining because it might affect my health, and the weather is not even clear yet.

I thought well about it and how important it is to me. I need to find another way to make things easier for myself. I woke up today to get a good mifi, MTN mifi, because that is the only way to make things better for me.


I bought the mifi because, firstly, my phone is always misbehaving anytime I'm using it when I put on the data too much. Moreover, I'm using a Google Pixel phone, and if you are familiar with this phone, you will know that it's always very hot when it's working too much. I need to find a way to minimize all these because they're affecting my engagement and my phone at the same time.

Ever since I bought the mifi, I've been enjoying Hive, and my engagement is also back. I do not know how many days I will spend at home, so it's better I get it now.

**My reviews of MTN broadband**

It has 4G MIFI. When you open the mifi, it is white in color, and the first thing you see is the mifi. The battery follows, and you will see a cord that comes with it. It's really a good day. I believe there's nothing with a beginning that doesn't have an end. Yeah, there's not. I could remember the beginning of this year or even before then how I'm so dreaming of going to service. I've got so many plans, then. I cannot even wait to go for the service. I got the same service I've dreamed of, and now I'm already rounding up everything. I believe you will not only finish what you did not start; as for what you start, you will definitely finish it.

I learned a lot from this service. Was it when I became president that I had to do a lot of things? Or the stress I passed through and the project I have done so far.


Since we are rounding up already, we had our last get-together to know how far we have all gone all this time and our achievements so far. These people here are my EXCOs, and as we all know, he would work and should have time for enjoyment. And that's exactly what we are doing now. My EXCOs are one of a kind; they all did well for me, so we are going to talk about how far we have gone and what is next in our lives.

We started the conversations in a nearby bar. We want to eat and talk. Every single person must be able to answer some questions like, What is your achievement throughout this year of service? Did you find love? What is next after service?

We all know how tough everything looks after service. This is why we need to discuss those topics in particular.

We have a leader among us, although I'm the president. So one of the leaders among us anchors the program. Everyone was given a chance to express their minds. Well, it's so good to see that people find love during the service of the year, especially during my regime. One of the goals of the NYSC is that people should come from all different states and, in fact, get married to people of different ethnicities. If you happen to find love during the year of service and get married, you will be given 500 thousand naira, which is equivalent to $500. in compensation.


Furthermore, some of my friends talk about leaving the country for another country just for a better life. Well, I couldn't go against their will; if that's what they really want, then all the best for them. Some want to go into business, some want to continue their masters, and so on.

Everyone has the chance to say whatever is on their minds. Then we round it up after spending some hours.

It has come to the end of the year, and different activities will be going on in school. Here is a three-day program for all schools in my state. It is called an inter-school teakwondo competition. The program was shifted to this moment purposefully because of one or two things. It should have been done before now.




I'm part of the coordinator team since I'm a school coach too. The three-day program goes thus: The first day is for the registration of different schools. At least we have more than eight schools that have already registered. Also, on the first day, there is what we called grading. So what is grading? This is just like promoting from one class to another, and things that are done in grading are what have been taught so far. So grading a student in taekwondo means an examination for promotion to another belt. We have different categories of belts: white, yellow, blue, brown, red, and black. It is good to know that there are still different types of black.



On the second day of the exhibition, athletes will beat each other and fight for positions: first, second, and third, and of course there's a fourth position too.

But today, they only did a few things; they had lectures from a doctor. And this doctor explains the use of acupuncture to everyone. He also explains why we need to take care of ourselves when we are tired. He moves forward by saying that acupuncture is good for athletes and that it's improving their performance in all ways. He gave some examples by healing someone who has been battling with injuries for a very long time now.



After some hours of talking, those that needed to be graded in another class came out and did their performance. It was so beautiful that everyone got carried away while they were performing. They must have been practicing for a very long time now.

We are yet to know their scores, but looking at what they did today, I'm confident in them that it will be a beautiful score.

After that, they did some performances for us by doing some demonstrations. We end the program late in the night. They must have been preparing for tomorrow because the event of tomorrow is what so many people want to see: how good you can fight, and so on. Well, I'm so confident in my school and my students. We are already coming to the end of the year at my place of service. Well, I serve in a football academy, which is also a normal school for boys only but is based on football. I'm serving there because I'm a sportsman, and that's one of the things I studied in school.



There have been a lot of activities so far, but then it's going to be the end of the year where there will be lots of fun activities and so on. Today is our Carol night for the students. They've been doing a lot of hard work all this time, so it would be nice to enjoy this time around.

Since I'm part of the officials, we must find all ways to make our students happy. This is because not all of them will travel home for Christmas carols. This is one of the reasons we must make them happy; we are in boarding school.

After which they had been given dinner at exactly 7 p.m. African time, we started the carol at 8 p.m., and we did lots of activities.

But before then, we group everyone into different houses, for instance. Matthew House, Noah, and so on. We grouped them according to some beautiful names in the Bible.



To make the activities fun, we make them competitive. And the winners have the highest point; there is room for first, second, and third positions. Also, there's a gift for all categories.

We started the competitions with arm wrestling. It was so challenging, and at the same time, seeing my students and how strong they are makes me really happy. The house will decide who will be their leader in each activity. You can see how happy the house that won looks in the video.

 

We move forward to the egg race competition, which is done by using spoons to pick eggs and then run with them. The implications here are that the eggs must not fall down; once they do, you are out of the race. It is so fun to see how careful and wise my students are.



In the food competition, we provided bread and drinks for all the houses. The first person to finish the bread and drinks wins the first positions like that until the third position. It was fun, and I don't even believe the first person to finish first. He looks slim, but he eats so fast.

first to sit down. This is another event we did after the food competition. We provided three sitting chairs and four participants. The point is for all of them to dance around the chairs, and once the music stops, they must be able to sit on the chairs. If you fail to do this, you will be out of the game. Racing competition. This is the last competition we did before we all started dancing. Since we are in a sports academy, we included the racing of the ball without the ball touching the ground as much as they could. We were able to pick the first, second, and third positions.

 



At this point, we have done lots of activities. And we are coming to the end of the program. We tell everyone to come and enjoy themselves by dancing away their sorrows.
