After the fight with the 2 werewolf abominations, the party exits onto a rickety wood platform on stilts attached to a minecart rail. A row of six carts wait atop it. Each cart can comfortably fit two people and uncomfortably fit 3 people. Throwing a switch sends the carts rocketing down the track. The party is soon joined by other afflicted on neighboring carts. It’s an all out brawl on rails as the party races towards their doom; a half destroyed track that will rocket them into the abyss below, unless they can find a way to slow their roll.

Our heroes made a disturbing discovery deep in the mines beneath the Castle On The Rock in Shadowgrange. The corpse of a dead god, a wound in reality that transcended time and space had been unburied there.

However, close to the source of the Affliction and the Guests, the afflicted became docile and could even be reasoned with to provide aid to the party.

This measure of peace was short-lived, however as after leaving the dig site the party was confronted with two gigantic werewolf abominations, each puppeted by dozens of parasites and armored to the teeth.
