The Misfortunates have reunited Alastor Licorice with his missing arm; a golden prosthetic containing a reliquary (the scrimshawed bone of a saint). The retired priest has found the fire in his belly and decided to return to the road as an Inquisitor of Avacyn, even as news that the angel in question has vanished from the skies continues to circulate. Not to be deterred, he swears bloody vengeance on the dark underworld of innistrad, and vows to slay every vampire here in Corsiva. His ultimate goal is to kill every cultist of Liesa for taking the sacred reliquaries he was sworn to guard (the party stole them).

As Anna and her friends sink their teeth into this new pickle, they are left to wonder...have they bitten off more than they can chew?

The Misfortunates have arrived in Corsiva, one of the largest cities in Stensia. There they bore witness to the greatest horror of all, man's inhumanity to man.

A crowd of hundreds, refugees from Estwald, were turned away and beaten at the first national bank of Stensia. Its Estwald branch promised them vouchers for their life savings even after it had been robbed, something the manager there should have been more prudent in disseminating; at least as far as his corporate masters were concerned.

Faced with this monstrous inhumanity, its apparent face is a small and unasuming Taxman named Timothy. The Misfortunates must now face their most insurmountable task of all; to pay their taxes.

Anna deepens her connection to the beast within her blood, Alaric comes face to face with a murderer, and Butler goes to church.

The Friends Of Ravnica are aboard the crashing Parhelion II, and with Dr. Louise now plugged directly into the ship's mainframe it is clear just how badly things are going. Crashing this ship seems inevitable. What's more, Sorin and Nahiri's deadly duel continues to wreak havoc and cause collateral damage.

Can our heroes survive this deadly ordeal? Or should the Boros start drawing up plans for a Parhelion III?

When last we left our heroes, the Misfortunates had escaped Estwald after a new faction moved in and took over; the cultists of Liesa, a fallen archangel. Their leader, Sinead Okonor, wielded immense power by drawing directly on the faith of her followers. 

It was possible they could return to the city and their stronghold there as Sinead had not witnessed them commit any crime against her people, but that remained to be seen.

The Misfortunates arrived in one of Uncle Rodger's carriages at a crossways tavern on the outskirts of Stensia, known as the Inviting Cliff. There, after a long and thirsty journey on the road--Anna's vampiric bloodlust nearly got the better of her. Until, that is, an icy hand wrapped itself around her upraised arm--preventing any violence. It was the iron grip of Mathas Fiendseeker--the vampire bounty hunter who they'd attacked while he was vulnerable some time ago. The expression on his face made it clear that there was some explaining to do, and he was in no mood for shenanigans.

Butler puts on a show. Anna remains stoic. Norric falls down a hole.

Nicol bolas’ invasion has begun. Multiple worlds are feeling the incursion thanks to the permanent portals on ixalan and kaldheim.  Trostani was dead but szithis revived her and made them abzan.  Bruna is frozen in time and her interaction with a paradox duplicate from innistrad is what caused reality to fracture on Ravnica, giving nicol bolas an opportunity to fracture it further.  The Parhelion II is slowly crashing to the ground. Vannifar revealed a teleporter she and Zegana had been working on to take out the boros from the inside should the Warmind initiative become a threat.  She teleported you aboard, but everyone was split up in random locations across the ship. They would have to fight their way clear of the wreckage and reunite.
