Can we trade our love of violence for a love of God's creation?
"Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; that ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust: For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." -Matthew 5:43-48

"Wherefore, the Prophets, and the Priests, and the Teachers did labor diligently, exhorting, with all long-suffering, the people to diligence, teaching the law of Moses and the intent for which it was given, persuading them to look forward unto the Messiah and believe in him to come, as though he already was; and after this manner did they teach them. And it came to pass that, by so doing, they kept them from being destroyed upon the face of the land; for they did prick their hearts with the word, continually stirring them up unto repentance." In this episode we go over Chapters 10 and 11 of the Book of Remembrance. Here we talk about Adam and Eve being washed clean and anointed before leaving the Garden of Eden.
From the Book of Remembrance:
"And there, in the Garden, said I unto them: I wash thee preparatory to your receiving your anointings, that you may become clean from the blood and sins of this generation. And behold, I did command them to do these things one unto the other, instructed I them by the mouths of my servants; Sanvi, Sanzanvi and Semangel; and thus did Adam wash Eve, and thus did Eve wash Adam." In this episode we go over Chapter 7 of the Book of Remembrance. Here we talk about the problem of arguing with Satan and how we trick ourselves into sin.
From the Book of Remembrance:
"And thus it is forever in the days of man: behold, as one falls so to do they seek to drag another down too that they be not alone in their sin. And behold, even as men do fall, so too might they be saved; and they that are saved desire to bring others unto salvation in Christ. Yea even as one rises in Grace they desire to lift another up unto Christ and salvation." -7:27-29

The following is the transcript of Kristine’s Easter 2020 message.
On this Easter Sunday, we worship together in celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. After the atonement, Jesus was crucified, his spirit left his body, and his body was laid to rest in a sepulcher or tomb. On the first day of the week, Sunday, Jesus’ spirit and body were reunited and He rose.
Sunday Morning
On the morning of the first day, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb. When she saw that it was empty she wept because she thought that Jesus’ body had been taken. But, Jesus appeared unto her and told her to go forth and share of his return with the twelve.
But, in Luke 24:11 we learn that the disciples didn’t believe Mary or the other women when they came to preach of Jesus’ resurrection.
Why did the disciples lack faith in Mary’s words?
Women Called
Even during this time, men often used their power to rule over women. Women were not allowed their voices – they were not allowed to cast a vote, to testify, or to preach. So, when these female disciples of Jesus came to testify of the things they had seen, and what Mary had experienced, the male disciples did not believe.
Knowing this, why then did Jesus appear to Mary, a woman, first, and direct her to testify to his disciples of his return? Jesus certainly knew of the reception she would receive. I believe this was meant as a reminder to both his female disciples of their faith and the validity of their voices in preaching of Him, and also to his male disciples that their sisters, wives, and daughters are commissioned as equals to preach of His gospel.
Sisters, I say to you, we have an integral seat at God’s table. We have been called and set apart to share of Christ’s love, and of His atonement for us with the world. I would encourage each of you to continue to seek His call for you in prayer. And, brothers, I encourage you to support and lift up those sisters among you, that they will be magnified in this call.
