Today we bring you the very FIRST Morning and a Movie episode. This is it. It all started with an audio recording taken from a phone whilst in a small apartment living room. The spark that ignited an idea was first lit by a conversation about our initial thoughts of AVENGERS : AGE OF ULTRON, the trajectory of the MCU, superhero movies in general...and Deadpool falling off of his bucket? I don't know...But, this is a special one...We've officially arrived at the beginning. 

Hold on to your butts. We've done it! We've finally brought this episode to life thanks to the DNA found in an amber-entombed mosquito. After months of searching, digging and various streaming platforms we are finally watching JURASSIC PARK. A movie that reminds us that MAN these park owners are dumb...like "their brain must've gone extinct" kinda dumb...Regardless, the gates have been opened. So welcome...to Jurassic Park! 

You better be ready to "ride into the danger zone" because it's time for us to barrel roll our way through the 1980's classic, Top Gun. Tom Cruise's Maverick along with the underutilized Val Kilmer help pilot our way through the film. Let me tell you that the g-force of this episode alone did "take my breath awayyy." 

In this episode we bring you THE MUMMY (2017). A Tom Cruise flick that somehow brought to life, 'The Dark Universe' and simultaneously killed it off. We spend much of this episode trying to navigate the details of the plot. Honestly, we did the best that we could. But, what we did figure out is this...Much like this movie, Tom Cruise's character in this is awful. 

This time we bring you an oldie but a goodie! A rebroadcast episode where we all collectively try to make sense of the movie Eragon. Luckily, we have Ashley Molina-Zambrano here to help steer us in the right direction. Apparently it helps to have read the source material the movie is based on...Who knew...This is also the episode where Chris picks up my phone and begins to play with it while recording. I guess it's safe to say that this episode is much like the movie Eragon...A little bit of a mess. 

This week we bring you an oldie from the early days of Morning and a Movie. In this rebroadcast episode we explain our thoughts and reactions toward the movie TOMORROWLAND. We mostly get hung up on the details of an EMP in Paris and whether or not the people of Tomorrowland have the technology to time travel. It's a HOOT! Also, while working on this episode I was reminded that this movie is much like this episodes audio quality...mediocre.  

It's time that we take a trip back to the late 90s with a modern retelling of William Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew." What movie would that be, you ask? Well, it just so happens to be the 1999 Romantic Comedy, 10 Things I Hate About You. A movie that not only reminds us how much we miss Heath Ledger but also how inappropriate 90s movies are. 

Well, It's finally the NEW YEAR and It'll be the START OF SOMETHING NEW! You can sing that again...We decided to usher in 2021 with HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL. A classic in our algebra books.  Full of songs that teach us not to Stick to the Status Quo, to Get our Head in the Game and to...Bop to the Top I guess? So, join us as we try to relax and start 2021 off with a High C. I mean...after all...WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER! 

Our friend Mia Semidey joins us for our final episode of 2020. And what better way to celebrate 2020 than to dedicate it entirely to the movie CATS. Need we say more? I mean, after all...It IS our Jellicle Choice.
