In Luke 23:34 Jesus said; “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” I believe that is what Jesus wants to do today... to focus on forgiveness. Holding grudges and bitterness against others, regardless of their motivation and understanding, will crush you. Forgive them!

I love the 23rd Psalm and am focusing today verse 4 - Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Fears can be real or imaginary but God's presence overwhelms them all.

I had such a great blessing to meet in person with digital friends with people I serve with at Lifechurch. Monte and Elaine are such a blessing. I want to encourage you today to embrace those friendships in your life and especially to BE that difference making friend to someone today.

I love the words of Jesus in John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Let these words speak peace over you today. We have His peace so let's dwell in that today.

I love the promise of Jesus in Revelation 3:20 - Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. Jesus is knocking. Can you hear his voice? Will you open the door today? It will be a game changer in every way of your life today.

What does it mean to seek God’s kingdom first? Can we really battle worry and anxiety by shifting our focus and thoughts on him and ignoring worry as it swirls around us?  Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Make your focus today on Jesus and His purpose and plan for your life... not worries and fears.
