Do you have a will? My wife and I are updating our will and that's something very important. Does God have a will? In a way He does. It's found in 1 Thess. 5:16-18. Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

I love this quote... "In the darkness of adversity, you are more able to clearly see God's face." Be sure that you focal point is not on the adversity, but on the God who loves us and is with us.

There is so much power in praising the Lord. I love the words of the old Imperial's song Praise the Lord - "Praise the Lord, He can work through those who praise Him Praise the Lord, for our God inhabits praise Praise the Lord, for the chains that seems to bind you Serve only to remind you that they drop powerless behind you When you praise Him."

A refuge is defined as a shelter or protection from danger or distress, something to which one has recourse in difficulty. God is our refuge... that's the promise of Psalm 46. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Be encouraged as I read this Psalm over you today and rest in His refuge.

I love what David said in Psalm 40:1-2 - I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. Ever feel like you're in a pit and can't get out? Our God the Pit Boss and can get you out to a place of praising Him!

In today's episode I share with you some thoughts from Psalm 20 as well as some thoughts from a message I heard yesterday. Whatever we're struggling with today, we can trust God with it. Call out to Him, "Mayday, mayday, mayday!" and He will be there for you.

Some things are easy to say but hard to do. Do we really believe what God says when we're in the middle of anxiety and worry? I Peter 5:7 says; Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for You. Some times that can be hard livin'... Amen? Let's do it and live in the freedom of that promise today.

I love this song that David wrote after God delivering him from King Saul. It's powerful and just what I needed this morning. In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, and my cry came before Him, even to His ears. - Psalm 18:6

I've read the last chapter and I know how the story ends. In today's episode I read over you Revelations 22, the last chapter of the Bible. Even so... come Lord Jesus!
