Ok... I've got another ride story to share with you from yesterday. It's a powerful story that God used to remind me of one of our primary purposes of life... to focus on giving and not getting. Are you ready?

When you first hear the words, "wise guy", you may think about some mafia types of people. But in today's Morning Manna, I want to encourage you to be a wise guy... a wise woman. God's wisdom is infinite and He wants to give that to you as you seek Him. His wisdom is found in his Word. There are so many in today's world who are acting like fools but today... be a wise guy.

If you asked me when I was a high school student in Miami what I feared the most, I would tell you sharks. I was a surfer and at times we would see sharks in the water and it frightened me. What frightens you today? What creates fear for you today? Psalm 56:3 has a solution for all of our fears - "Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You."

We're all a little needy at some point right? Today I'm encouraged by a powerful promise in God's Word. Phillipians 4:19 - " And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." This is a promise you and I can bank on today!

Joy is powerful. Joy is healing and medicinal to the struggles we face. Joy is life changing and strengthening. Joy is a game changer in dark times. Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

I'm so encouraged by today's passage from Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 - Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil. Be strong today and trust Him.

There’s just too much noise today! There’s just too much movement! Have you ever wondered how some Christians can be going through the worst pain and suffering and still they have joy? It’s because they are being still. They put all their worries in God’s hands. Let's hit the pause button today and be still in God's presence.
