How we start our day is one of the most important things in life. Our mornings set the entire tone for the rest of our day. If you have a bad morning, you’ll likely feel more stressed and anxious throughout the day; and if you have a good morning, you’ll likely feel more happy and energized throughout the day. Mornings matter.

Proverbs 15:3 says; "The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good." Boy or boy does He have a lot to see today. God does see - in every place - and He watches the evil and the good that is going on everywhere at all times. There is nothing He does NOT see or know.What a respect and fear of God comes to us when we grasp the attributes of God. It is a good thing to know this - because the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.

Proverbs 4:23 says; "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life." Your heart determines your life. This is one of the most important proverbs. Blessing or grief in your life depends on ruling and training your heart. If you direct and instruct your heart with godly things, there is no limit to your potential success before God and men.

Jesus is the light of the world. He came to bring light and salvation to all. But John 1:5 says; "And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it." In John 3 we read that "men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil." Don't get discouraged with the darkness in our world. Keep shining your light because it can and will make a difference.

There are two types of strongholds mentioned in the Bible. One is negative and speaks of areas of weakness and struggle; the other speaks of a place of protection with God where we are shielded and guarded by Him. Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

Today I share some important truth from the YouVersion verse of the day, 1 Peter 4:16 - "Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter." We're number one... we're number one! Have you ever heard that cheered. Nobody cheers, "We're number two," but it today's episode I want to share with you an experience I had yesterday about the blessing of going second.

One of the things I really like and use frequently on my Google phone, is the Google Assistant. For you iphone users is similar to Siri. My most prominent use of it is with my schedule, setting reminders and events. But better than "Hey Google" is "Hey God." Call out to Him today to worship Him, express your gratitude to Him as well as your needs. He... is...there.
