I wonder how many Christians have really come to understand the great fact that peace is our inheritance. Peace is what Jesus has left us. It is fundamental and cannot be taken away from us by any circumstance. That's the promise of John 14:27 - "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

Psalm 56:3 says; "Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You." Everyone experiences fear in their life. There are big fears we are very aware of and little ones we may not even realize we have. I've learned that it's very important to understand what fear is and how it works against us because if we don't, it can keep us from becoming what God created us to be.

In today's episode I share Ephesians 4:29 and it's challenge to us today. Let's together rev up the grace and tone down the rhetoric of division. "Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers."

Our battle is against spiritual rulers of darkness that influence the evil that is taking place in this world today - but they can never be defeated in our lives through natural weapons and worldly ways.

Isaiah 41:13 says; "For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you." Can you feel that today? Can you believe that today? It's His Word... His promise! Live in it today!

In today's episode I'll be reading from Psalm 71. I love how many times the word "refuge" is used in this Psalm. Sometimes we need refuge... a hiding place where we can refresh and refuel. God is that refuge for us today. In all the unique struggles we're currently facing, He is our hiding place... our refuge.

Isaiah 30:21 says; Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left. God wants to give us direction today. He wants to lead us and guide us. The question is... are we listening? Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

Do you ever feel like you are wearing a mask? Do you ever find yourself pretending to be someone you’re not? Pretending to “have it all together,” but in reality, your “all togethers” are falling apart? You would never want people to see the “real you”, the person behind the mask.

Have you ever experienced a "slow leak" in one of your tires? I have and am currently taking care of that situation today. I'm hoping I can find a shop open on Memorial Day to help me. In today's Morning Manna I want to draw an analogy that might challenge and help you today.
