As Christians in this world, we hold "dual citizenship." For me, I'm a citizen of the United States but in Christ, my citizenship is also in Heaven. That's the message of Philippians 3:20 - "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ." So we're pilgrims right... and navigating that dual citizenship can be challenging. Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

I love the promise of Hebrews 13:5, Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” This promise is repeated throughout the Bible. Claim it today and live in it's power and richness.

While our cups get low or empty and can be in need of filling, I'm thankful for the way God fills me back up with purpose and provision. My focus today however, is on seeing opportunities to fill someone else's cup.

What a powerful invitation we have from Jesus... Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. I love the encouraging words of Moses to Israel as they are about to enter the Promised Land. "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deut. 31:6. It's also repeated in Hebrews 13:5. Remember today that you are never alone regardless of where you are in your journey.

I love the way the book of Revelation ends... "He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen." I especially love those two words... "even so". Regardless of what precedes His coming... even so... He, the King is coming again and it can't be soon enough for me.
