Psalm 119:71 says; It was good for me to be afflicted, that I might learn Your statutes. 1 Peter 1:6 uses similar words... "if need be." Let's talk about the lessons we learn through the school of hard knocks.

In Psalm 23 we read; "...though I walk THROUGH the valley of the shadow of death." God helps us to walk "through" things. He doesn't leave us in the midst of difficulties. He walks beside us, strengthening and comforting till we get to the other side.
