The kindness YOU showed without expecting anything back was never forgotten.
YOU have done it — gone out of YOUR way for someone, given of YOUR time or resources, shown kindness that cost YOU something and asked for nothing in return. And because YOU never expected anything back, YOU filed it away and moved on, never imagining it mattered to anyone but the person YOU helped. 2 Kings 4 reveals what God quietly does with kindness like that.
There was a woman known for her generosity.
She noticed a need in someone doing God's work, and she did more than offer a quick, polite gesture. She went out of her way — and then she went even further, giving up something of her own to make room for him, expecting absolutely nothing in return. She was not serving to get. She served because that is simply who she was.
Here is what most people miss.
Her kindness was noticed — and not only by the person she served. It moved him to want to do something for her in return. When he asked what she wanted, what favor he could call in on her behalf, she asked for nothing. She was content. She had no agenda behind her generosity. But there was a private ache she carried that she never spoke out loud — a longing she had quietly given up on.
And that buried longing is exactly what God reached for.
Because the very thing she had stopped hoping for, the one need she never voiced, was spoken over her in a single sentence. It was so specific, and so far beyond what she expected, that she could barely let herself believe it. And at the appointed time, it came to pass. The kindness she showed with no strings attached opened the door to a miracle in her own life.
There is something in the connection between the kindness she gave and the reward she received — a reward aimed at the exact thing she had stopped asking for — that will completely change how YOU see the kindness YOU have been pouring out. Because what YOU do for others in kindness is never wasted. God sees it, remembers it, and knows exactly how to reward it.
What was the kindness that went beyond a gesture? What was the longing she never voiced? And what was spoken over her because of what she gave?
Deuteronomy 28:1 | What YOU Obeyed at a Cost Is Still Coming Back
Pastor Sean Pinder welcomes guest speaker Pastor Mark Zimmerman for a word for anyone who has been obeying God at great cost and is still waiting to see the reward.
Obedience is the most expensive thing God asks of YOU — and the most rewarded.
YOU have obeyed when it was hard. YOU have done what God asked even when it cost YOU something, even when no one around YOU seemed to be doing the same, even when there was nothing to show for it yet. And part of YOU has started to wonder if it is even worth it — if all that quiet, costly obedience is actually leading anywhere. This message was written for YOU.
It begins with a staggering promise.
Scripture says that if YOU fully obey God — carefully, completely, not just the convenient parts — He will set YOU high above. Not partial obedience. Not obedience when it is easy. Full, laser-accurate obedience is tied to a reward most people never experience, because most people only obey the parts that cost them nothing.
Here is what most people miss.
There is an example of perfect obedience woven through some of the most familiar stories in the Bible — stories YOU have heard many times — and it is not the person YOU have always focused on. There is another participant in these accounts, one most people read right past, that obeyed God with instant, exact, unquestioning precision. And once Pastor Mark shows YOU who it is, YOU will never read these stories the same way again — because that overlooked example will convict and inspire YOUR own obedience.
That kind of obedience always becomes part of something bigger.
In every one of these accounts, the one who simply did exactly what God said — immediately, without debating it, without watching to see if anyone else was obeying — ended up positioned right in the middle of a miracle. Obedience put them exactly where God wanted them, at exactly the right moment, and made them part of what God was doing. The same is true for YOU. YOUR obedience is not keeping YOU small. It is positioning YOU.
And here is the encouragement for the one who is tired.
Some of YOU have sacrificed things no one sees. YOU have given up a lot to follow Jesus, and YOU are still in a hard place with no shortcut in sight. But Scripture promises that God is not unjust to forget YOUR labor of love, that in due season YOU will reap if YOU do not give up, and that there is a reward reserved for those who endure. YOUR harvest is closer than it feels.
Who is the overlooked example of obedience? Why does full obedience get rewarded when partial obedience does not? And what is waiting for the one who does not faint?
Press play — because God rewards obedience. Pastor Mark is going to open the Scriptures in a way that will breathe fresh strength into every costly, unseen act of obedience YOU have offered God.

Pastor Sean Pinder welcomes guest speaker Pastor Mark Zimmerman for a word for anyone worn down and ready to think — and live — differently.
The battle YOU keep losing on the outside is being decided somewhere YOU are not looking: in YOUR mind.
YOU have tried to change YOUR circumstances, YOUR habits, YOUR results — pushing against them from the outside. But these passages point YOU to the real starting place, the one most people skip: the mind. Because what happens in the unseen work of renewing how YOU think shapes everything that happens after it. And there is a specific reward attached to that inner work that YOU do not want to miss.
It begins with a command most people read and move right past.
Scripture says to stop being shaped by the pattern of the world around YOU, and instead be transformed — not by trying harder on the outside, but by one specific thing on the inside: the renewing of YOUR mind. And attached to that renewal is a promise — that YOU will begin to prove, to actually experience, the good and perfect will of God for YOUR life. The thing YOU have been straining to discover becomes clear only on the other side of a renewed mind.
Here is what most people miss.
A renewed mind changes how YOU see everything. It means walking by faith instead of by sight. It means carrying the very mind of Christ instead of the exhausted, defeated thinking the world handed YOU. And it unlocks something YOU desperately need: these passages promise that those who wait on the Lord — who renew their minds in Him — have their strength renewed, mounting up like eagles, running without growing weary, walking without fainting. The renewed mind is where exhaustion ends and supernatural strength begins.
And there is a reward dimension most people overlook entirely.
Much of this renewal happens in secret — in the quiet place, in waiting, in the unseen disciplines no one applauds. But Scripture promises that the Father who sees what YOU do in secret rewards YOU openly, and that He is a rewarder of everyone who diligently seeks Him. The hidden work of renewing YOUR mind is not wasted. It is seen, and it is rewarded.
There is something in the connection between the inner renewal and the outer reward — the strength, the clarity, the open blessing from secret seeking — that will completely change how YOU spend YOUR time with God. Because the effort YOU put into renewing YOUR mind is never wasted. It is the most productive thing YOU can do.
What is the one thing that actually transforms YOU? What does a renewed mind unlock that striving never could? And what is the reward promised for the work done in secret?
Matthew 25:1-13 | There's a Reward for Being PREPARED
The preparation that feels pointless right now is the exact thing that will matter most later.
Being prepared is quiet, unglamorous work. It is the effort YOU put in when nothing is happening yet — the praying, the getting ready, the staying faithful when there is no immediate payoff and no one watching. And because nothing seems to come of it in the moment, it is easy to let it slide. But Matthew 25 reveals that the preparation YOU are tempted to skip is the difference between being ready and being shut out.
There was a group waiting for an important arrival — and at first, they all looked exactly the same.
Same assignment, same waiting, same outward appearance. But there was one difference between them that did not seem to matter at all in the beginning. Some had quietly prepared for the possibility of a delay. Others had done the bare minimum, assuming they would not need more. In the calm of the waiting, that difference was invisible. Everyone looked equally ready.
Here is what most people miss.
The arrival was delayed, and while they waited, every one of them grew drowsy. The preparation did not make them look more spiritual or more impressive during the wait. It simply sat there, unused, seeming unnecessary — until the exact moment it became the only thing that mattered. Because when the sudden announcement finally came, the difference that had been invisible became the difference between everything.
The ones who had prepared were ready in an instant. The ones who had not scrambled to get what they needed — and discovered it could not be borrowed or rushed at the last second.
By the time the unprepared returned, the door was shut. Not because they were unwanted, but because the window to prepare had already closed. The reward went to the ones whose quiet, earlier effort meant they had what they needed when it counted. Their preparation, which looked like wasted effort during the long wait, turned out to be the most important thing they ever did.
There is something in that contrast — the invisible difference, the sudden moment, the shut door — and in the promise that God rewards those who diligently seek Him, that will completely change how YOU view the unglamorous preparation in front of YOU. Because the effort YOU put in now, when it seems to accomplish nothing, is never wasted. It is being stored up for the moment YOU will need it most.
What was the invisible difference between them? Why couldn't it be borrowed at the last minute? And what does it mean that YOUR quiet preparation is never wasted?
Press play — because there is a reward for being prepared. This message will show YOU why the effort YOU are putting in now, with nothing to show for it yet, is positioning YOU for the moment everything changes.

Pastor Sean Pinder welcomes guest speaker Pastor Jeffrey Zimmerman for a word for anyone who has been faithfully serving with no recognition.
The service no one seems to notice is not wasted — it is qualifying YOU for something.
YOU have been serving. Behind the scenes, without applause, doing the small and often unseen things that no one thanks YOU for. And sometimes YOU wonder if it even matters — if anyone sees, if it is going anywhere, if it counts. These passages were written for the person quietly wondering whether faithful service ever gets rewarded.
There was a man remembered by history for something surprisingly small.
When people described him, they did not lead with his gifts or his greatness. They identified him by an act of humble service — a menial task, the kind of thing a servant does for the one he follows. That was his reputation: not the leader, but the one who served the leader faithfully. And that quiet, unglamorous service turned out to be the very thing that positioned him for everything that came next.
Here is what most people miss.
When the moment of transition came, he refused to leave the side of the one he had served — even when he was told he could go, even when staying was harder. His loyalty was tested more than once, and he would not quit. And because he stayed close, because he kept serving to the very end, he was there for a moment most people never get: an open invitation to ask for anything he wanted.
What he asked for was bold — a double portion.
Not a small blessing. Not a modest request. He asked for twice the anointing of the one he had served. There was a condition attached, one specific thing he had to do to receive it. And when that condition was met, the servant received what he asked for — and the same power that had rested on the one he served now rested visibly on him. Everyone could see it. The one who had served was now the one carrying the mantle.
There is something in the connection between his years of quiet service and the double portion he received — and in the promise that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him — that will completely change how YOU see the serving no one has been applauding. Because faithful service is never the end of YOUR story. It is the qualification for YOUR next assignment.
What was the small act he was remembered for? What was the condition attached to the double portion? And what does it mean that God is a rewarder of the one who serves?
2 Chronicles 1:6-12 | ASK FOR THIS FIRST — The One Thing YOU Ask For Decides What Comes With It
If God handed YOU one request, what YOU asked for would reveal more than YOU realize.
Most people, given that moment, would reach straight for the obvious things — more money, an easier life, a problem solved, an enemy dealt with. And there is nothing wrong with need. But these passages reveal that what YOU ask for first — the thing YOU value most when YOU could have anything — determines what God is able to add to YOUR life. Ask for the wrong thing, and YOU get only that. Ask for the right thing, and everything else comes with it.
Someone was once given exactly that: an open invitation to ask God for anything.
He was young, newly stepping into a responsibility far bigger than he felt ready for. And when God said, in effect, ask what you want, he did not reach for the obvious. He did not ask for wealth, or long life, or the defeat of his enemies, or honor. He asked for one thing that surprised everyone — the one thing he knew he could not lead without.
Here is what most people miss.
The request itself moved the heart of God. Because of what he asked for — and, just as importantly, because of what he did not ask for — he was told he would receive exactly what he requested. But it did not stop there. God added to him the very things he had not asked for: the wealth, the honor, the standing, all of it thrown in on top of the one thing he actually sought. The right request did not cost him the other things. It unlocked them.
And here is the part that puts this within YOUR reach.
The same thing he asked for is offered to YOU freely. Scripture says plainly that if YOU lack this one thing, YOU can simply ask God for it, and He gives it generously to anyone who asks, without holding it against them. It is not reserved for kings. It is not earned by performance. It is given to the one who values it enough to ask — and God is a rewarder of everyone who diligently seeks Him.
There is something in the connection between what he asked for and everything that got added to it that will completely change what YOU pray for. Because the effort YOU put into seeking the right thing is never wasted — it positions YOU to receive far more than the thing itself.
What did he ask for instead of the obvious? What did God add that he never requested? And what is the one thing YOU can ask for freely, starting today?
Press play — because there is one thing to ask for first, and the one thing YOU ask for decides what comes with it. This message will show YOU why seeking the right thing is never wasted effort, and how one request can unlock everything else.
💬 Comment "GIVE ME WISDOM" if YOU are asking God for the one thing that unlocks the rest.

Pastor Sean Pinder welcomes guest speaker Pastor Jeffrey Zimmerman for a word for anyone who has wondered whether following Jesus is really worth what it costs.
Following Jesus will cost YOU something — but what it pays back is more than YOU can calculate.
There is a quiet fear underneath real surrender: that if YOU truly give God everything — the thing YOU are holding onto, the security YOU have built, the plan YOU made for yourself — YOU will end up with less. So YOU hold back. YOU follow, but with one hand still gripping what YOU are afraid to lose. These passages confront that fear head-on, with both an honest warning and a staggering promise.
It opens with a man who had everything but the one thing he was searching for.
He came asking how to gain what money could not buy. He had kept the rules, done the right things, checked every box — and still sensed something was missing. And when he was told the one thing standing between him and what he wanted, he could not do it. He walked away sorrowful, choosing to keep what he was holding rather than follow. He counted the cost and decided it was too high.
Here is what most people miss.
Right after that, the ones who had actually left everything to follow asked the honest question everyone is afraid to ask out loud: we gave up so much for this — what do we get? And instead of rebuking them, the answer they received was one of the boldest promises in all of Scripture. A specific, multiplied return was named — not a vague someday, but a real reward, both in this life and the next.
But the promise came with a detail most people leave out.
Because the reward was not described as a cost-free, comfortable payoff. The same promise that guarantees the multiplied return names honestly what comes with it — that following Jesus is worth everything, but it is not without hardship. That honesty is exactly what makes the promise trustworthy. It is not a sales pitch. It is a real accounting of what YOU give and what YOU gain — and the gain is not close.
There is something in the contrast between the man who walked away and the ones who followed — what one kept and lost, and what the others left and gained — that will completely change how YOU see whatever God is asking YOU to surrender.
What was the one thing the man could not give up? What was the reward named for those who followed? And what does it mean that the promise comes honestly, with hardship included?
Luke 19:1-10 | YOU Can Make This RIGHT
There is something YOU got wrong that YOU have quietly assumed can never be fixed.
A choice YOU are not proud of. A relationship YOU damaged. A thing YOU took, said, or did that YOU have carried ever since — convinced it is too far gone, too far in the past, too broken to ever be made right. So YOU have learned to live with it. But Luke 19 tells the story of a man everyone had written off, who discovered that no matter how far he had gone, he could still make it right.
He was despised by everyone who knew him.
He had built his life at other people's expense — taking, cheating, profiting off the very people who now resented him. He was the last person anyone expected God to stop for. And yet, when the One passing through his city came near, something in this hated man wanted to see Him so badly that he did something undignified and desperate just to get one glimpse.
Here is what most people miss.
The One passing through did not walk past him or write him off the way everyone else had. He stopped, called this man by name, and did the one thing no one thought a holy man would ever do — He chose to come to his house. The crowd was scandalized. But that unexpected acceptance did something in the man that condemnation never could: it moved him to make things right, on his own, out loud.
And what he did next is the heart of this whole message.
He did not just apologize. He committed to restore what he had taken — and not the bare minimum, but far beyond what anyone could have demanded of him. He turned his wrong into restitution, his past into a payment, his shame into a fresh start. And the moment he did, words were spoken over his house that YOU need to hear over YOUR situation: that salvation had come, that the lost had been found, that it was not too late after all.
There is something in why the encounter changed him — that it was acceptance, not accusation, that moved him to make it right — that will completely change how YOU approach the thing YOU thought was unfixable. Because the One who sought him is the same One seeking YOU, and He does not come to condemn what YOU got wrong. He comes to help YOU make it right.
What did the man do to get one glimpse? What moved him to make it right? And what was spoken over his house the moment he did?
Press play — because YOU can make this right. This message will show YOU why it is not too late to restore what YOU thought was beyond repair, and why the One who seeks the lost is standing ready to help YOU.
💬 Comment "IT'S NOT TOO LATE" if YOU are trusting God to help YOU make something right.

Something about YOUR past came to light, and part of YOU has been living under it ever since.
Maybe it was dragged out by someone else. Maybe it just surfaced. But it got exposed — the thing YOU hoped no one would ever know, the failure YOU are not proud of — and since then, a quiet verdict has followed YOU: that this is who YOU are now, that YOUR past has the final say, that whatever future YOU could have had is over because of what came out. John 8 was written for the person carrying that exact weight.
Someone was dragged into the open, her failure exposed in front of everyone.
There was no hiding it. It was public, undeniable, and her accusers made sure everyone saw. They stood her in the middle, named what she had done, and demanded the harshest possible outcome — using her past as the weapon to seal her future. By every appearance, she was finished. Her worst moment had become the only thing anyone would ever see when they looked at her.
Here is what most people miss.
The One they brought her to did not join the condemnation. Instead of piling on, He did something unexpected — He bent down and did something that made everyone wait. And then He said a single sentence. Not a defense of what she had done, and not agreement with those attacking her, but one sentence that completely disarmed every accuser in the room and turned the whole moment on its head.
And one by one, the accusers left.
Something in that sentence reached past the woman's guilt and exposed the accusers instead. The people so eager to define her by her worst moment suddenly could not stay in the room. And when they were gone, she was left alone with the only One who actually had the right to condemn her — and what He chose to do with that right is the heart of this entire message.
Because He did not excuse her past, and He did not condemn her for it either. He released her from it and pointed her toward a future — a clean, forward-facing command to leave that life behind and step into something new. Her exposed past did not get to own her future. The very moment that was meant to end her became the place she met grace and a fresh start.
There is something in that one sentence He spoke, and in what He said to her when the accusers were gone, that will completely change how YOU carry what has been exposed about YOU. Because YOUR past being known is not the same as YOUR past being your master.
What was the sentence that emptied the room? Why did the accusers leave? And what did He say to her about her future?
Matthew 18:23-35 | You Can't Keep Holding This — What They Did Was Wrong… But Don't Let It Own YOU
Someone wronged YOU, and YOU have been carrying it ever since.
Let's be honest first: what they did was wrong. This is not a message that pretends the offense was small or that YOU should just act like it never happened. The debt was real. The hurt was real. But there is a question this passage forces YOU to face — not whether they were wrong, but what holding onto it is doing to YOU. Because Matthew 18 reveals that unforgiveness does not punish the person who hurt YOU. It quietly imprisons the person carrying it.
There is a parable here about a man who was forgiven an impossible debt.
He owed something so massive he could never have repaid it in a lifetime. He was completely out of options, facing total ruin. And when he begged for mercy, he received something he did not deserve and could never earn: the entire debt was wiped away. Every bit of it. He walked out of that room free, carrying nothing.
Here is what most people miss.
That same forgiven man walked straight out and found someone who owed him a small fraction of what he had just been released from. And instead of extending the mercy he had just received, he seized him, refused to listen to his pleading, and had him thrown into prison over a debt that was tiny compared to the one he had been forgiven. He held on to a small offense while standing in the freedom of a massive pardon.
And what happened to him next is the sobering heart of this parable.
Because his refusal to release what was owed to him did not just affect the other person — it came back on him. He was handed over to the tormentors. That is the picture this passage paints of unforgiveness: it does not lock up the one who wronged YOU. It hands YOU over to torment — replaying it, reliving it, carrying a weight that grows heavier the longer YOU hold it. YOU thought YOU were holding them accountable. YOU were actually holding yourself captive.
There is something in the size of the gap — between the debt he was forgiven and the debt he refused to forgive — that will completely change how YOU see the thing YOU have been holding. Because YOU are not being asked to say it did not matter. YOU are being invited to release it so it stops owning YOU.
Why was his debt forgiven? What did his unforgiveness cost him? And what does it mean that holding on may be tormenting YOU more than the one who hurt YOU?
Press play — because YOU can't keep holding this. What they did was wrong, but do not let it own YOU. This message will show YOU why releasing an offense is not letting them win — it is setting yourself free.
If the wound is deep and letting go feels impossible right now, YOU do not have to force it alone — reach out to us, and let us pray with YOU as God helps YOU release what YOU were never meant to keep carrying.
💬 Comment "I'M RELEASING IT" if YOU are ready to stop letting what they did own YOU.
