We have a tendency to ask many times for things we need yet we do not always believe it will happen. When we ask, we should be diligent and thoughtful - not haphazard in our requests.
We all remember some famous sayings. Some we use today. Others we just recognize when repeated. Scripture should be repeated! Scripture should be familiar!
It’s been said - we are going into a problem, having a problem, or coming out of a problem - problems we face are part of being a child of God. BUT, God promised he would be with us!
The Old and New Testaments are equally important. We should not try to separate the two but rather understand the relationship between - they both give us Jesus!
We could use a lot of words to describe someone or for ourselves to be described by someone else. Some positive - some negative. How would you describe God?
We all can look back on past struggles and see how we came through them. We may now be even better than before them! But, we wouldn’t be who we are today had it not been for the Lord.
All seems to be going well in your new walk with the Lord and then, problems arise! Your begin to doubt and you makes wrong decisions. Be sure to stick with the Lord no matter what!
As Christians, we should have a desire to be in the center of God’s will for our lives. To be there, we have to be ready to do and to maybe even go! Are you ready?
If you’ve ever built a house, bought a car, or owned a cell phone, you have entered into an agreement or contract. With God, He works in covenants - He has not exit clause with His promises!
Remember, the Lord created you to be you. You are not to try to be anyone else. The Lord knows who you are and loves you the way you are. Be content with who you are!
