We all have had stress associated with being separated from someone we love. We miss them and we want them near us. Young children experience this when going off to school - but the parents may deal with it as well! But nothing can separate us from the love of Christ - nothing!

Many of us have trouble reading the instructions when it comes to assembling something we have purchased. Usually we have to make several mistakes before we have returned to the instruction manual. Let’s not make the same mistake with life. Open the instruction manual first.

John is the writer of love. Paul wrote of love (charity). Christ expressed the significance of love - God so loved... love.... God is Love...

Organization. Putting things in the right order. We all have a tendency to get out of order and we all have a tendency to put the wrong things first. Seek ye first the kingdom of God.

No matter the times, good or bad, the Lord is always there. He’s ready to hear from us all the time. He desires to hear from us in the good times and in the troubled times. He wants to hear from His children all the time!

As kids, we had people we looked up to. We wanted to be like them or to follow in their footsteps. Having a role model is a good thing as long as the model is of good standing. Let’s set our standard as Jesus and lead people to follow after Him.

Experience - it usually takes a little of life’s journeys to teach us a few lessons and there’s nothing better than life to teach us about our pride and humility. Nothing better than a dose of humble pie to be served up along the way to keep us in check.

The churches of Revelation were inventoried by Christ Himself with each spoken to about their good and not so good characteristics; Paul too visited churches and addressed many aspects of their daily walk with Christ; what would he report on us?

So much in the Bible is grounding in us having a strong and unwavering faith in The Lord. We face challenges that are truly insurmountable in our own strength but with Christ, we can do all things! Our faith is our guiding light and our fuel to press on in times of darkness.

Fear of the unknown can be paralyzing! When we place our trust in the ways of the world and in the ways of man, we are truly trusting in the unknown and man is uncertain in his ways. The only certain path to take is that of the Lord’s; the path of righteousness.
