Today's encouragement comes from Philippians 4:4 

"Rejoice in the Lord Always and again I say Rejoice!"

The great apostle Paul is writing this book while imprisoned for the gospel and yet he encourages us to rejoice in the Lord always! 

If he could do it while chained up and surrounded by sewage, surely we can as well!

Sometimes when we wake up in the morning, we can feel an overwhelming sense of dread or discouragement. In order to combat this, it's vital that we speak the Word of God, and rather than let the circumstances around us dictate our day, we tell our day how it will be!

The joy of the Lord truly is our strength and that strength comes from the Word of God living on the inside!
