    She’s trying to stay strong, she’s holding back tears – and so is Garth - what an honor. She was inducted by Teri Clark after an emotional performance of “Girl Goin' Nowhere,” which Ashley said was written specifically for the Grand Ole Opry stage.
    Ashley said being inducted into the Opry was one of the biggest milestones of her life, especially because she spent years being told she wasn’t “marketable.” Well, she definitely went somewhere…

    Soon after, Garth proposed during a live show, dropping to one knee on stage with a massive heart-shaped arrangement of roses behind him. Their love brought some of the best duets, including “What Gave Me Away” and “In Another’s Eyes.”
