Life at Mississippi College has been busy as they not only wind down the year, but as they also celebrate the graduations of numerous students. Having weathered the pandemic, they have come out stronger, and Dr. Blake Thompson shares with us an update on how things are going at Mississippi College, and reminds that we too can be strong and courageous because of the Lord.

Serving is an important aspect of being a part of the church. Andy Ashley serves the church by heading up RA’s for the elementary age boys in our Children’s Ministry. Join us as we get to know Andy better, and are encouraged to be Christ’s representative on earth.

Lauren Compere joins us today to share about her ministry One Shred of Hope, a ministry designed to support families affected by disability. She also reminds us of the importance of getting back to the basics of the gospel.

Life is constantly changing, and for one of our MC seniors, life is about to make a big change. Isaac Bowlin shares what the Lord is doing in his life, his plans for the future, and shares how we can love the Lord and those around us with confidence because of Jesus.

Dr. Greg joins us today to share an update on the life and happenings of the church along with a word of encouragement that we can approach God with bold prayers.

We have all been blessed with special gifts that we can use for the Lord. Jim Goode shares with us his love of bagpipes, along with several other hobbies and reminds us that no matter our gifts, we can always use them for the Lord.

It’s always nice to welcome a new staff member which is why we are excited to visit with Claire Jones, our new Elementary Ministry Assistant. Claire gives us an update on her life, ministry and a reminder that we are called to glorify God.

One never knows where the Lord might lead you. The place where the Lord led Maxie Johnson was Life Action. She shares with us her love of music and learning languages, as well as her desire to always boast in the Lord.

Building projects are daunting tasks, but when they are complete and paid off, there is much to remember about God’s goodness and faithfulness. Dan Modisett reminisces with us about the planning of our Hampstead Campus and reminds us that Scripture shows that we are expected to plan, but in that planning we must never forget Christ.

Prayer is so important in the life a believer. Our church is blessed to have a wonderful prayer team, headed up by Chrystelle Thames, to encourage us in this discipline. She shares with us today an update on the Baptist Children’s Village, prayer ministry needs, and a reminder that not only must we ourselves be disciplined in prayer, we must encourage the younger generation.
