Don and LaShelle discuss step-parenting! Well, Don chats about his time as a single parent, and the challenges and lessons learned. LaShelle talks about the switch from being a single individual with a four-legged child, to a step-mom of 3 instantaneously! The joys of being the "evil step-mom", the tennis match challenge of 4 people with ADD at a dinner table, and schedule changes from week to week as the kids went back and forth to their moms' houses. There are even some fun references to the Gilmore Girls tv show! Don draws some conclusions on if the kids acting out is due to having a step-parent.

Don and LaShelle chat about getting a puppy!!!  But they don't agree...  

Don would like a dog that will be between 10 and 15 pounds, but LaShelle really wants one that is 10 pounds or smaller.   So they don't completely disagree.  Maybe they will plan on getting two?!?
