I've realized it's been far too long since I've posted an update/recap kind of episode after the past 7 episodes have been interviews. After listening to the Bloodround Wrestling Podcast I knew I needed to do an episode right away, plug in Kyle Windover. Kyle is an assistant coach at Chatfield High and an assistant club coach in Colorado, but his roots are in Lowville NY where he wrestled over 10 years ago. I enjoyed bringing on someone new to talk wrestling from a different perspective.

Connor Lapresi is about to begin his first season as the head coach of Ferrum Women's Wrestling. Connor is one of the most energetic individuals I know in the sport of wrestling. He tells his journey of moving to Lansing NY to further his development in the sport of wrestling and as well as the connections he's made. Lapresi who is a NY state champ and a Cornell wrestling alum has a very positive outlook on the sport of wrestling serving on team VA's staff for Cadet Freestyle/Greco Duals and was on staff for Team NY in Fargo. Like our conversation in Fargo, we could have talked for hours.

A 20-hour car ride from Fargo ND calls for a highway episode. The quality of this episode isn't the greatest as the mic was passed around our rental car as we head East on I-90. A car with Coach Chris Adams, Coach Lewis Cucchiara, Tyler Ferrara and Myself(who covered the NY-USAW social media pages over the week). Brief recap of our week but looking forward to bringing others on the show in the next few weeks.

Heath and Sofia will be flying back to the states just in time to make the flight to Fargo ND for the 16u/Junior National Championships. Heath is the NY-USA Womens director and head coach.
