Life throws some really scary things our way. Will I get this job, get into this school, pass this class, or find the one? If we're not careful fear can cripple us. In this week's passage in John 6, Pastor Bill looks at how Jesus addresses our greatest fears and calms them.

What’s your deepest hunger? We’ve all been really hungry, and hunger will cause you to do some crazy things. As you get older you realize while food is the most basic hunger, it’s not the only one. They are deeper less physical hungers that are just as real. This week we explore how Jesus fills our deepest hunger.

This week we look at the sign performed at the pools of Bethesda. Jesus stepped into the brokenness of a man with no hope and no help. We look at how God has stepped into our lives at just the right moment to offer us what we need most, a healer for our own brokenness.

Humans have been dealing with discrimination since Adam and Eve sinned against God. Racial divisions are nothing new and they plagued the church in Ephesus. Paul wrote Ephesians to a mixed congregation of Jews and Gentiles. There were deep lines of hate, distrust, and disunity between the two groups. Yet, these two groups found themselves worshiping in the same church. In Ephesians 2 Paul gives a way forward in racial division.

In this series opener, we explore dealing with doubt, anger, and injustice through prayer. There is too much brokenness, too much pain, and too much hate for us to fix it. We have to let Jesus do what only he can do. That requires us to surrender in humble prayer.
