What is the point in giving gifts on Christmas? When you get down to it, in its purest form, giving is about tangibly express that we love someone. God tangibly expressed his love for us when he sent his son. In this final Christmas message, Pastor Ivey looks at the greatest Christmas gift ever given and what it means for us.

In this Sunday's sermon, God's redemption plan through Jesus becomes clearer. We take look at the heart. Throughout scripture, God is always less concerned about genes, upbringing, pedigree, or wealth. He is far more concerned about the heart. When he established a royal house for Jesus to be born into, he found a person with a good heart.

The Christmas story finds some of its earliest beginnings in the unreasonable God ordained test of a famous old testament character named Abraham. Listen in as we look at how God tested Abraham, how he reacted, and why it matters to us 4000 years later.

Hope can seem fragile unless our hope rests fully on “Him who is able.” We can't find our hope anywhere but in Jesus. While Cain and Abel were not the promised ones, their story points to the one who would come thousands of years later: Jesus.

Whatever your story is, being saved just in time is always good. Jesus came to us at just the right time so that we could have salvation. Everyone likes a good mystery. It builds excitement and suspense. Yet, we don't want mysteries to remain unsolved. Eventually, we want to know the answer to whatever mystery is before us. Paul speaks of a deep and beautiful mystery in the book of Colossians. It's a mystery that changes our lives and pushes us toward spiritual maturity.
