Worship on-line at Mosaic is continuing this weekend. Even with LIVE Drive-In worship going on in Trotwood at United Theological Seminary. To be honest, we are all still grieving in the midst of everything happening in our country. With tensions and agony around race on top of Covid-19 and just everything, when we worship we acknowledge the pain and at the same time set our sight on Jesus! We are exhausted. God hears and understands. God invites us to gather together. We will again hear from some of the voices in our Mosaic Family who are helping to lead us during this time of unrest in our country. We will listen to stories of what is possible and ways to do our part to be anti-racist. Mosaic, we want to live into our vision of becoming a "dynamic mosaic of Jesus-followers" because the world needs a witness now.

Pentecost is this Sunday and marks 50 days after The Resurrection. It’s the day God poured out the gift of the Holy Spirit on those early followers of a new Movement that was forming while they were sheltering in place. The movement which started with a few quickly transcended language, culture, ethnicity and gender to reach all the known world. Christians often refer to heading back to our roots as an Acts 2 Church. However, an Acts 2 Church doesn’t happen without Jesus-followers who are ready to embrace all of God’s people.
