In this episode I am talking about the trigger I experienced when I was at my daughters dance competition. It reminded me when I was nine and we used to be entered into beauty contests. I would always come last and could not understand why I was never chosen. As a child I thought people didn’t like me and I had to become someone else in order to be loved. It was at this time I think I started believing that in order to be loved I had to become a different version of me and to live a “lie” so I could be accepted.

This episode looks back at the year of my dad who died and then I get fired 10 days after his funeral. I talk about my feelings and how I am trying to bottle up the pain of losing both my dad and my job.

One needs to have a perspective in life and appreciation

This is my first podcast. I am so fearful of taking chances in my life so I thought let me do this and feel the fear and do a podcast. I don’t have any expectations really. Just to overcome fear of being out there.

In 2016 I was a broken woman. My daughter was 3 years old when I lost my dad and ten days later I lost my job. This is about how I went through a deep dark hole and eventually found that the events of 2016 were part of a divine plan. And here I am seven years later, a completely different person.
