Talkville: The Ultimate Smallville Rewatch Podcast with Tom Welling (Clark) and Michael Rosenbaum (Lex).

Happy 24 years to Smallville! In this episode, Logan celebrates the anniversary while rewatching an episode from season seven (Clark at the Fortress, talking to Jor-El). Tune in as he praises the Talkville rewatch podcast, shouting out its hosts Tom Welling (Clark Kent), Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luther), and producer Ryan. The episode includes an appeal to the Talkville team to continue the rewatch through the final three seasons of Smallville, even though Michael Rosenbaum had left the show. Plus, hear a classic Cameo from Michael Rosenbaum for the host's other podcast, Mostly Superheroes.

Was the return to The Grid worth the wait? Resident movie screener Scotty Scoop (3.0/4.0) gives us his spoiler-free, honest review of TRON: ARES. The third installment of the sci-fi franchise sees two competing tech giants race to find the code that can make digital constructs permanent in the real world. Find out why this Jared Leto-led sequel might be "the last time" we see The Grid, and why Jeff Bridges was "criminally underutilized".

Scotty Scoop gives his spoiler-free review for the new dramatic thriller, After the Hunt (2025), starring Julia Roberts and Andrew Garfield. This tense film, which deals with sexual assault, is praised as "cinema" with A-list actors, strong writing, and a well-shot, well-paced structure. Find out why Scotty calls the performance by Roberts' husband's actor (Stolberg) one of the best of the year and why he predicts nominations for acting, directing, cinematography, and the score by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. This is the movie to watch if you're looking for drama and want to "furrow your brow and wonder what is really going on here". See more reviews on our Instagram at @mostlysuperheroes.

Arena Andy is back to talk about his latest picks! Find out why Apple TV's Slow Horses, starring the "animal" Gary Oldman, is one of the most underrated shows on TV.

Andy also catches up on his MCU rewatch, finishing up Loki Season 2 and speculating on how it will connect to Avengers: Doomsday next year. Plus, a review of the Channing Tatum movie, Roof Man, an Alamo Drafthouse experience that was "more like rough, man".

In reading material, Andy finished Batman Resurrection and is looking forward to the sequel, Batman Revolution, which is out later this month. Both books serve as a sequel to Batman '89. Finally, get ready for the Gen V finale next Wednesday, which Andy might discuss with Logan, Scott, and Sam in the studio.
