In this holly-jolly episode of Mother Funny! Andie is on a mission to put Christ back in Christmas. But first, she’s got to explain the presence of Generalissimo- the illustrious dog painting that now adorns her wall. Gift giving can sometimes feel like a puzzle, but Andie and Angie are here to remind you that it's not about the price tag or the extravagance. Sometimes, it's the $13 painting or the $25 boots that bring the biggest smiles. Christmas can be delightfully random, and it's all about the joy of unwrapping the unexpected. When it comes to gift giving, Andie and Angie take you to the heart of it – what does the person truly want? What's best for them right now? What stage of life are they in? Homemade gifts, cookies in a jar and/or hot chocolate themed gifts are great ideas when you are giving gifts to a lot of people. But please don’t give Angie a plant. She just can’t keep plants alive regardless of how sturdy they are supposed to be. So join Andie and Angie for a festive, feel-good chat that'll have you celebrating the season with laughter and love. It's Christmas with a dash of humor and a whole lot of heart!

And don't forget Christmas Eve night – when moms and dads spend almost the entire night wrapping gifts, leaving them with a solid two hours of sleep. So whether you’re all the moms on this Christmas Mom List, or a few, or a mom that’s not listed, just know that you’re doing a great job preparing for the most magical day of the year!

“What we like, is like Folgers to the next generation.” This is supposed to be a mini Mother Funny Thanksgiving episode, but Andie and Angie need to debate their views on coffee. This is how the holidays roll in the Mother Funny world, where disagreements come with an extra shot of love. Thankfully Andie and Angie find common ground on their belief that coffee shops should serve food! Andie and Angie are thankful for their Mother Funny tribe and Starbucks! They are NOT thankful for creamed onions though. Some traditions just need to come to an end at some point. Yams, stuffing, green bean casserole, and Grandma Vance’s pecan pie are Thanksgiving dinner must haves. Light roast coffee is still up for debate. “It’s important to talk about so moms don’t feel alone.” In this episode of Mother Funny, Andie and Angie are continuing their conversation with Dr. Mom (aka Dr. Jamie or Dr. Poust). Mommy Burnout is something every mom can relate to. Sure, it’s not the most uplifting topic, but sometimes you just need to laugh through the hard times. Mommy burnout is seen at different times, and in different circumstances. Plus, it can change as your kids grow up or go through different phases. Moms who work outside the home can be burned out or emotionally drained at work, but then they come home and try to balance mom life. It can be a lot to handle. But guess what? There is no shame in asking for help. Sometimes you might just need a friend to listen to your struggles, and other times you might need help getting your kids to martial arts. Andie, Angie, and Dr. Jamie want you to know that you aren’t alone. And if there’s a time you start to feel overwhelmed maybe you just need to take a mommy time out. A few minutes to collect your thoughts might be exactly what you need. So go ahead and lower your expectations a little bit because the "Perfect Pinterest Mom" doesn’t exist. So whether you’re stressed out, laughing, or crying, just remember you’re doing a great job!

Dr. Jamie is real, authentic, relatable, and funny! Even though Mommy Burnout isn't the funniest thing to talk about, these three know how to have a good time talking about any topic! Just so you know, Jamie is a pharmacist and a mom of three. Okay, first things first, why do people think self-care is the Magical Mommy Burnout Remedy? Who has time for a bubble bath when you're on the brink of exhaustion? Sometimes, you don't even realize you're in the Mommy Burnout Club. You might feel down, anxious, stressed out, or overwhelmed. Don’t worry, you’re not alone. Moms are always on the go and focused on meeting their kids’ needs. True, it's a rewarding journey, but it's not always carefree. Sometimes it can feel like a grind. So grab a cup of coffee, and get ready to laugh because it's okay to take a break every once in a while.
