We spend a lot of time talking about how WE can speak OUR DOG’S language but how do we get OUR DOGS to speak OUR language? In today’s episode we will discuss how and when to start commands with your dog. We will also talk about why dogs can learn two words that lead to one action but it’s very difficult for them to learn one word that is applied to many different actions.

This is an intro into what this podcast will be all about! After working with and training dogs for over 10 years, as well as becoming a mother, I realized there are so many times I pull from my mothering experiences to help understand how to work with a dog. On the flip side, there are also so many times I am with my son and I catch myself using dog training tools! I want to give people these tools and perspectives in hopes I can help them understand and train their dogs better and maybe even learn a few parenting tips in the process.
