Did you know that you are allowed to redefine your definition of efficiency now that you are a working mother? Yep.

Efficiency for us used to look like doing 50 things without breaking a sweat. We made it look almost effortless. Most of us were the most efficient people we knew.

And now that baby has arrived? It’s a totally different ballgame. I think this is one of the most stark and jarring differences for working women who are new mothers. The before baby and after baby real time experience of yourself and your schedule and your life changes so profoundly. Without guidance, we really struggle to adjust, especially when we have a lot of self-identity and relationship patterns that are tied up in our old version of hyper-efficiency.

In today’s episode, I will teach you a process for how to redefine efficiency to your version of “mom efficiency.” What does that look like for you right now in your current experience of working motherhood? This process is one of the most freeing and helpful ones you can undertake, especially if you prided yourself on being very efficient or a perfectionist in the past.

Working mothers have lots of jobs to do. We also have the job to do of making sure that we see our life beyond those jobs to do.

Go big-picture with me on today’s important episode where I explain how we come to be so miserable while simultaneously so successful at doing to jobs of working motherhood. We get so caught up in the functions of our day-to-day existence that we neglect some critical needs that we have. And we have this perverse brain chemistry that is creating a loop of false satisfaction.

Feeling overwhelmed with the changing nature of the pandemic? Pandemic dynamics are adjusting very quickly here during May of 2021, including new government guidelines that are still being implemented at the time of this recording. Mother Knows Best can be a challenging concept for some of us. It’s important to take the time and demystify why that is the case. In today’s episode, I go deep into why you might be struggling to use this specific tool on a day-to-day basis.

The reason for your struggle could be simple resistance that is a normal function of the human brain, and I have the perfect brain hack for you to implement immediately.
