Hey Mother Toughers... I do not know about y'all but it has been tough and stressful around here.  My mom and wife plate are overflowing!!!  We have talked a lot recently about feeding ourselves positivity and I have noticed a lot lately how much my kids need extra positivity doses too (even if they just roll their eyes at me)!

Mother Toughers, I finally got to finish the rest of the first season of The Secret Lives of Mormon wives and so much happened, I am ready to discuss and share my thoughts.  This show brought up a lot of thoughts about how we handle our friendships and the relationships that those friends are in, which can get a little complicated especially when our friends don't like our spouse/partners or we don't like our friend's spouse/partner.

Hey Mother Toughers, this week I decided to jump into some random trending drama like... Donald Trump's hair at the debate, what's happening in Ohio, and of course, the new Hulu show, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.  There seems to be a lot going on and as someone who has been slightly consumed with my own drama that seems to have decided to stay away, I am diving into other people's.  We are tying some of these topics back into parenting by touching on parents getting involved in their children's drama!  Woo!

Hey Mother Toughers!!!  It is so good to be back & September is going to be a month to take charge of burdens!  Balancing all the mom duties, stepmom duties, wife duties, household duties, and outside of the home things can be so HEAVY!  You can feel when it gets so hard that you cannot even compartmentalize a single thing and then it just gets overwhelming!!! AHHH!!!! BUUUUT we HAVE to be able to sit it down AND step back!

Het Mother Toughers!  We are getting so close to our kids heading back to school & milestones are happening even over the summer.  I am downloading a few things happening within the fam & bringing a little discussion about the Lifetime show Gypsy Rose Life After Lockup.  What have been your thoughts on how she is navigating life outside of imprisonment for the first time in her life???  Go over to instagram or facebook to discuss!!!  A lot has happened in the family therapy process with my oldest & now we are ready to rebuild our relationship!
