Hey Mother Toughers!  It is another week filled with updates and life lessons.  This week we are discussing baby mom woes, how awkward small talk is, lessons learned from parenting a teen with mental illness, and allowing teens to come to us.  It can be so very hard to watch our kids grow and deal with life adjustments from babies entering toddlerhood, young kids learning how to learn, and teens turning to their peers for advice.  We want to keep all the pieces together for our kids even at the expense of sacrificing our own pieces but when do we fill the holes we are left with?  Sometimes we have to learn to just be GOOD!

Hello Mother Toughers and welcome back!  This week we are talking some more about intentions and what we can do to ground ourselves to prepare for each day... do you have a night routine that pulls you back down and slows the day?  If not, you are not alone because I have not been consistent with mine.  I need to make myself a priority each day and so do you!  We do so much for our families, work, and friends, and now it is time to add ourselves to the list.  I am also discussing my stay-at-home mom journey and asking myself why I feel I need to list off all my accomplishments ... Hey Mother Toughers!  It is so good to be back and jumping into the new year with y'all!  We have had a big move, holidays, hospital discharges, rehospitalizations, birthday planning, and unpacking... needless to say I am one busy mama BUT aren't we all?!!  Parenting is tough through life's big changes and teaching our kids big lessons is even harder, I think I may have FINALLY nailed the accountability conversation with my older, or at least the wording I will be using from now on... Hey Mother Toughers!  We are jumping into the Attachment Style results... what did you get?  And what did you learn about yourself?  We are in transition with finding residential placement for our oldest and also in full swing of homeschooling my son, all while hanging with baby girl, and then running our 13-year-old socialite to all of her events.  We are so close to our big move and I am getting things done plus gearing up for all of the major things!  This week we are talking more about tough love, letting our kids fall, and able-ing our kids to be ready to pick themselves up.  Let's get into the tough stuff!

Hey, all you Mother Toughers!  I hope this sets you up for another amazing week and helps you overcome the tough stuff!  Well, I FINALLY finished Britney Spears' book and OMG so much I think any mother can relate to.  Her book has definitely shed SO much light on who she was behind the tabloid smear campaigns she had to endure, along with so many more painful things.  I am gearing up to pack the entire house for our move and I am stressing as I am doing so many projects on furniture on top of getting us ready, but why not pile more on my plate, HA!  I am closing out the episode going over attachment styles and goodness are these eye-opening, I will be taking the attachment style test to see what mine is but first I wanted to give the full rundown,  I gathered so much good information on attachment styles from this article:  What Are Attachment Styles And How Do They Impact Relationships?
