Today's episode is a special one, as we chat with our dear friend, Lana Mackenna.Last year, at 30 years of age, Lana began surgery to avoid breast cancer, to which she is genetically predisposed, only to not recover from a routine boob job. After months of chronic pain and being made to feel mentally unhinged, she was finally diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.
Coming up on today’s show, lana explains how establishing her personal values and living in line with them has helped her navigate one of the biggest crises you could ever face, with strength, intention, and optimism.
At some stage since we were 15, our friend has become this articulate, insightful woman spitting wisdom and we couldn't shut her up, so we've split this episode into two parts. Part 2 will be released Wednesday. Happy listening!
