This week's mum shares her story of raising her son who has a disability as a result of a rare genetic condition. Despite knowing from birth that something wasn't right, it took four years to get the diagnosis. Her son is only the 11th in the world to be diagnosed with this disability, and after his diagnosis she went through IVF to ensure her next baby isn't affected by this rare condition.
This Mum is coming on the podcast to discuss the anxiety and pressure she's experienced in her parenting journey, along with the emotions and nerves hoping that her second baby won't also have additional needs.
